I don't think those commands go out through direct chat, but you can always just set your microphone to stereo mix and start muting extraneous sounds.

It's definitely not for the inexperienced to try on their own, but there's a plethora of guides on the subject all around these forums and the internet at large; if you're familiar with troubleshooting and looking up solutions to your problems, you shouldn't have much of an issue. Provided your hardware is up to snuff. It's been discounted the whole sale. It's right on the front page. You can get it even cheaper at the BIS website, though, and it even comes with a Steam download.

Hah, a 620 as "elitist". That thing couldn't render its way around anything without a flip-screen. Those PCs you mentioned are cripplingly underpowered. Either continue to take feedback and develop your view, or go out and educate yourself on your own terms, but don't try to act like you already know everything you need to and then go throwing out statements like that.

Well if you don't want to walk, get them to come to you. If none of you want to walk, then don't meet up. If you want to meet up from opposite sides of the map without having to do any work or effort, you're in the wrong game.

Okay. You go build and fund the server that will track enough concurrent online players for this to be a "Massively" Multiplayer Online game, and then you get to deal with the thousands of angry people bitching about the unending bloodbath that ensues. Just don't do it here in Day Z. I don't want to get an idea that dumb all over this awesome mod-in-progress.

560 maybe? Yeah a 610 has the 600 series chip innovations, which are significant. With the puny amount of actual grunt it has, though, it's unlikely to actually outperform anything beyond a laptop. You're better off just dialing back a series (or two) and going for something that can actually lift its own pinkie finger without sweating. I don't know who the 610 is targeted to, honestly.

When kids these days think clicking a button on a forum is considered a hack... *sigh* Yes, you can give yourself beans. You were able to like your own posts in the not-so-old forum layout of earlier today, too (which is basically what the beans function was reskinned from). If people see you doing it though, they're going to go to your profile and one-star your ass for being the guy who's actually fake (and insecure) enough to abuse and devalue the system like that for some imaginary numbers on an internet forum. The like function is a way for everyone to know that other people stand behind what you said. Doing it to yourself removes any trace of purpose from the action; it's baseless self-gratification over trivialities, at that point.
