Rocket can do whatever the hell he wants. Heck, if he wants to edit his Hive stats to give himself the best gear in the game, more power to him. Where he tests the game, how he tests it, and what he designs it to be is up to him. It's his mod. -

I'd like to see a blindfold added into Day Z, or more likely, the option to make a blindfold out of bandages or armbands or what have you. Put it on, and your character can't see crap. Maybe we could even see when someone has a blindfold on. Blindfolds could allow for players to abduct abduct other players at gunpoint to secret camps, but in all honesty, I'm skeptical that such a mechanic would really work out. More importantly, blindfolds will allow for your character to move through the world without being able to see anything. -

Not yours, if you don't want it to be. I'm not asking for people to spawn without eyeballs, I'm asking for an item people can make or find. "Players can blindfold themselves" does not in any way equal "Players should be blindfolded". -

The purpose is exactly what it sounds like it is. It's to make you unable to see anything. It's a blindfold; that's what blindfolds do. Your HUD and Inventory represent your awareness of your own body and the contents of your pockets/pack. I'm not looking to run around with no idea how hungry I am or whether I'm bleeding to death, I'd just like the ability to not see anything. I'd just have my character close his eyes, but there's no option to do so in the game. I'm not asking to see one immediately, but at some point in the game I'd like to see a blindfold implemented in some form. -

Why does their weight matter? You're choosing whether you trust them and the safety of both of you enough to try and take some temporary hardships in order to further the human race and get a few fun perks for yourself. Whether someone is Russian, English, fat, thin, black, asian, or in love with that band you hate shouldn't change your decision to hook up with their character any more than it should make you decide whether or not to kill them.

I'd like to point out to you guys that I'm suggesting a blindfold as something you can equip, not something you use on others, in the OP. Not that using a blindfold on others couldn't also be implemented (and you can always force someone to put one on at gunpoint), but it's not the core focus of this suggestion. -

Can server admins see

Admins can only do appoximately 4 things: kick players ban players restart server make modifications to the server's settings and to the machine it runs on. That's it. Everything else is done just like a player. -

What do you guys do as survivors?

I just sort of sit on my porch and rock back and forth... Every now and then I'll see a newbie run by with zombies on his tail and I'll try to help. Every once and a while someone will creep outside my house while I lay prone inside, ears perked and shotgun trained on the door. Occasionally I'll make trips to my hidden tent to stash some of my surplus loot or replace something I've run low on. By and large though, I just sort of sit and hang around... surviving. It's a different style of play from most folks, but I like it. -
Also, matrimony describes marriage, maternity describes child-carrying. My two pence.
