    The maker of this video really makes Chemlights and flares seem bad when actually they are kinda fine. Flares I try to avoid to use if I do not need them, chemlights work well as long as you don't RUN into another player and do not attract zombies. Flashlights can be somewhat a problem but that's because if you plan on looting a building the flashlight light likes to go through walls.

    If I remember there is some bug where you have to aim the flashlight at a certain angle in order to turn it on, I usually just aim up in the sky or down at my feet.

    I believe its not legal, or at least, not before in DayZ, unless Rocket has decided to add a set of new weapons, which he hasn't said he has. So I would scrap it if you found it on a body or such. But if you did find it naturally then I guess I am wrong.
