Agreed. It's not hard, it's just plain stupid. Stealth playing was hard and rewarding before. Now you can't play stealthy at all without going prone from 500 meters away all the way into town. It's not fun at all, just frustrating. -
FYI, for some reason when you pick up tools (hatchet, watch, compass, etc), the game drops nearly your entire inventory on the ground (but not your backpack items). Very strange. Also, I had issues with the flashlight where it would not turn on.

Yeah, it's a little unclear. Does this stop the hacking or is it just a server refresh for some other reason? -
It's a good move. It's better to have people not play for a few hours than thousands of angry nerds crying on the forums about hackers and spreading the word that nobody should play. Hopefully he'll have the hacks fixed shortly.

These 'revive' paddles are used to normalize a heartbeat. They don't magically bring people back to life. That's video game fantasy land. No. Learn to be more careful or get a vehicle. -
It's an alpha test. Your expectations are way too high. Providing feedback is one thing, but threatening to quit a game in alpha testing because it has some issues is completely idiotic.

Imo, there should never be a single player mode unless there's a real incentive to try out the multiplayer and the two modes are very different. There will be far too many crybabies who don't want to lose their stuff that refuse to play online and it'll turn into a hardcore bandit deathmatch. -

I don't think you should be able to differentiate between a recent zombie kill and a survivor kill. They're both blood splatters either way. Also, the blood splattering should only come from looting a dead body. Not from a firefight, since you're not going to get blood on you if you shoot someone from a distance. I really like the body inspection idea. -

There has to be some way to balance finding friends with the cheapness of being able to choose spawns. Honestly, if the respawn button worked getting a good spawn would be much faster and easier. -

I wouldn't add Starcraft to that list. It's got a damn steep learning curve. Battlefield and CoD, yeah they're mainstream and easy. I trust Rocket not to fuck this up. -
Are people really complaining about the patch preventing the gamma abuse? It's one of the best patches yet, imo. Nighttime had turned into daytime with crappy graphics, rather than the scary stealth experience it's meant to be. Now you can KNOW you can't be seen and don't have to use gamma to even the playing field.

There's nothing wrong with that playstyle. The game needs every type of player. As for abusing the game mechanics, I think that will be fixed in the next patch with the 5 second abort timer. -

The problem with this is you're assuming that people would still be affected. When it's a life or death situation and society has been destroyed, would you really feel all that terrible killing someone in order to save yourself and your friends?
