So what should players do in the meantime? Cause I'm quite disappointed. I bought Arma:CO just for DayZ and it seems like I arrived during the downfall of it. Spending 30 minutes to join a server for 20 minutes, before it 'stops sending messages' gets a bit demoralizing.

Hey guys Just started playing DayZ today, had heaps of fun so far (excluding the several deaths due to bandits). Just a quick question about the whole server connection thing.. I regularly get stuck on the 'Waiting for sever response' screen when trying to connect to most servers. A small portion of them work for me (generally the ones with more players, which indicates its working fine). Is this a regular thing or have I got something that I need to do to avoid this?
