Server this happened on - US 838 Time that it happened including your timezone - 12:50am GMT +10 What happened during the incident My group sees someone driving in a Ural near Zeleno in the middle of the night, set an ambush and kill them. I start cleaning up zombies drawn from the firing of my weapon, 2 seconds later there is a mysterious explosion and I die, I notice an admin in the server lobby and then the server restarts... removing my body and any chance to regain my equipment. The player killed driving the noob was Like a noob, the admin was [RX] xMaris.

ANZ 5 Approximately 2:30pm Melbourne time (GMT +10) Myself and another member were at our group's camp when one of our vehicles was destroyed by what sounded like a satchel charge. Someone started talking over direct communication at us and continued to destroy vehicles one by one. We could hear footsteps but the player was completely invisible and could not be found. I can only assume they were spawning satchel charges directly on the cars. I logged out to lobby and took a screenshot of all the users online at the time if it helps.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to share good sniping spots with others? Once it's got lots of traffic it's no longer good.

Where it says 1.6.whatever, it means the ARMA version, not the DayZ version. You need to update the launch options if you're going to run it through Steam and also copy the exe file from the beta folder to the main folder. What on Earth were you doing putting all the toolbelt items into your backpack? You could have grabbed his weapon, items and backpack and got out of there in 10 seconds and messed around with sorting your inventory later.

I think you've got your distance scale mixed up when you're talking about the grid squares... the entire map is 225 square km, which means it's 15 x 15 km.

Best sniping spot in Cherno?

The 'best' spots aren't actually the best because they're all known and you'll get picked off yourself. Any decent sniper will move after taking a shot anyway because you're giving away your position. Instead of just sitting in the one spot sniping whoever you see for the shit of it why not get yourself a couple of buddies... have a spotter and a looter, pick your targets more carefully and take them out for their gear. Some people find entertainment in killing for the sake of it / griefing and each to their own I guess but meh... where's the challenge? -
What rationale do you have for calling the empty camp site hacked? Maybe they moved camp and left the bus behind because... well... it's crap.

Why would you go to the NW airfield and skip the barracks? Actually... why would you go to there and waste time on anything but the barracks?

Try the Seattle or LA servers... there are a TON of Seattle servers and you'll be able to find plenty of ones with a time offset. Honestly I get a better connection to Seattle servers a lot of the time, the ANZ & NZ servers have been awful recently.
