Nice expression of it :D If i had to analogize my feeling for the mod, it would be something like the guy that put the marmelade jar in his bottom. Assuming he enjoyed it, ofc.

As soon as you drop the CZ - you will find masses of ammo in every loot stack, of course ;) Decision depends on your backpack. Rifles take 10 slots. +ammo Pistols need 5 slots. +ammo The only Pro on the CZ is range. Loud weapon. Hmmm. Send your friend in looting while you check the outside of an area + provide information for your mate. -Crossbow lawl. If it does not fit your style of play, switch to winchester, as it is far more useful in cities. Quieter, more ammo.

@short freezes and old computer: Clean the cooler on the cpu. If HDD use defrag drive. Check forums if HYPER THREADING options do impact Arma Not sure: Shadow settings lower than 'High' and 'Very High' are done on CPU

Cancer Fire: "In Soviet Russia, door opens you" As far as doors and similar stuff are concerned, they have a fairly large range to be opened from, try using that extra room to avoid being crushed. best one: Leave a gap between door and wire fencing, so if door opens, it pushes enemy into fence. -
Add something about debug zones.

infection wont kill you. After last patch i am not sure, but it should be a blood loss of 2000 - 6000 hp. -
1. Not the gas pumps - Go to the tanks 2. Empty Jerry Can in main inventory 3. Mouse Wheel Menu should offer refill like Water on a pond.

If it was an EA Game, they would have sued him for all he got and will ever have, then murder and rape his family and pets and then sell the mod as it is now for $40 in octobre. But Yes, by now, i would name 20 players who exclusively bought arma for the mod. Unique player has risen to 330.000 i would love to see some numbers from april.

Hello everybody! plz discuss placement of "teleporters / quick travel" in debug areas as a temporary solution to the problem of spawning in debug zone. i am talking debug hills, debug ocean, etc.(not sure if debug-forest is too close, though) Similar to quick travel post in ARMEX, hit "get me the fuck out of here -button" and auto relocate character to a random spot at the coast, just like the freshly spawned torch survivors are randomly distributed there. Any potential to be abused? - Only position i would have objections about, is debug forest, as it is close to the playable map and might be abused to fast travel into the eastern part of the map. I guess, the other locations are sooo far off-map that travelling there would not be efficient. Pros ? Cons ?

i like the posting. it points out a lot of frustrating aspects of the technical nature that scared some of my group. i think dev/s is/are aware of most of it but have a lot on rockets list and alpha stage is the best way to gather lots of info about the to-do's without wasting money. Since i have dayzinfected a lot and feel partially responsible for their investment into arma license, i tried to provide technical support from what i learned on BIS, WIKIA and this forum about the mysterious engine and every update.. however its hard in this forum not to become an asshole. And even harder to keep track of troubleshooting, etc. erm i forgot what i was writing about in the first place. Ah yeah... the mod is frustrating in a lot of nongame related ways, i like your way of telling that and taking a break. See you some versions later and the people posting memes are nearly as fucked up as the people in ea forums.

You should try to see it from his perspective and put some fear into the mix. If assuming he killed that guy, and asked you to go away, he might fear for his own wellbeing. ...and after all.. maybe he just came around and thought you were the cod kid, who just shot and looted another player.

It's an alpha. I dont want to asshole-talk you by saying this. Just want to point out that every detected bug, cheat and abuse will be likely to improve the final game. So from customer point-of-view its a win in the long term. Even if there is a lot of keen bastards out there, that thrive upon the grief and tears.. constructive conclusions may be drawn from the effort. ..and its much more efficient than inhouse testing. From Bohemia point of view it is at least not a loss if people get banned after having purchased. -

Let natural selection take care of it, since they will not gain neither ammo nor food by hunting the new spawnees down. -
i can confirm walking 2km east from the debug forest has worked. Ocean fail spawn might be South of the coast. So you have to go north and then follow the shore line towards east. ( ocean on your right side ) empty debug hills seem to be on the very top left corner of the map. Also I had the problem of character not being saved anymore and being reset to those hills atfer reconnect.
