No there isn't. People like you need to stop being so IGNORANT AND USE DIRECT COMMS. There is a billion stories on these forums of RANDOM PEOPLE coming across each other and working together. Hell me and a buddy were doing some banditry outside cherno along the highways. shooting people in the leg who didnt stop and go prone when we talked to them on direct comms. We made them dump their backpacks, taking what we wanted. On one occasion we gave a person morphine and a blood infusion after they said "JUST GO AHEAD AND SHOOT ME". Other times i've run into people and exchanged greetings on direct comms and went our seperate ways. NOT EVERY FUCKING SHOOTS FIRST. USE DAMN DIRECT COMMS IS THE POINT. Also, if you just run blindly into a loot hot spot and HERP DERP into buildings then yes you're going to startle someone into shooting first. ALWAYS ALWAY ALWAYS Direct comm a loot hot spot and you perhaps wont get shot in the damn face. I DO USE DIRECT COMM HERP DERP. Every "fucking" does in fact shoot first. Of course if you run blindly into buildings in hotspots you will get killed. Why do you think I can't play dayz solo succesfully? Because I posted something different from your own agenda? Probably. Probably why youre hostile and mad.

I saw your thread yesterday and I was gonna post in it but I decided not to. I knew this was coming from you. I did the same thing you did yesterday. I made a thread, and saw what kind of community this is. Its best to just not say anything. Also it doesn't matter who provoked it, the mods dont care. So just dont post any ideas, for the sake of your mental health. Regardless if its carebear or an original idea. The deathmatchers view it all the same.

I was under the impression that you could change it everytime. I've played 5+ servers since 1.7.1.5 and I always get the choice to chose male or female. If I chose female, will I then no longer have an option at spawn?

I was crawling through komarovo, trying hard to not aggros zombies. This was one of my first lifes in 1.7.1.4 so I was very cautious and vigilant. In this hightened state of awareness, I began crawling towards the corner of a bulding and stop dead in my tracks. I think I hear a zombie on the otherside. As I get into the crouching position, I turn around and see a female weilding an axe. Without a blink she begins hacking away, and I see blood squirting from my neck area. Out of instinct I begin backing away, and I get hit again, breaking my bones. I was on the ground, completely defensive, at the mercy of a stealthy axe murdering woman. I died....and that was the first time I've ever jumped in real life from this game. Many scary moments from zombies, but none like this, which evoked a physical reaction from me. Damn I love dayz.

Improvements are being released rather quickly, and this will happen with the current dayz code. Only options: Tough it out or wait it out.

I doubt you will be able to play with more than 15 fps. I have a quad core, 8gb of ram, and a gt430. The gt430 is probably my bottleneck, but I get 29fps at most. On low settings. The frame rate will only get better as time goes on and they add improvements. (Which is all of the time) I reccomend downloading the free version of arma 2 from the website just to confirm and try it out.

There doesnt need to be a risk nor does there need to be any advantages to survivors. Its all about surviving and killing the threat before they kill you. If you group up with someone that is a bonus in itself.

I was in cherno with 20+ people last night. I went from 23 fps recording to 8fps recording. I doubt the game would support it, everyone would crash, even with their i7's and dual gtx560s. I can see it being a real possibility in Arma 3 however.

I believe there needs to be a visual indicator for bandits, such as a skin. A heartbeat sound within certain range is too minimal, by the time you heart it, it is too late. This would discourage spawn and random killing, in my uneducated opinion.
