Alright so I have been travelling all of chernarus (Twice) lately in Canadian servers and except for some towns and surroundings in the middle of the map, I came to the conclusion that I can't find any Heli Crash Site. Now, I know that some peope were talking of making a map of known locations and was wondering if they were still on it? Also, if you have come accros a site recently and would like to tell its location and its loot (for the bragging !), feel free too ! Thx

I gotta say, I rarely try to go straight north since I usually only find poor stuff in the deer stands, but I'm gonna try it at my next respawn now that I read that ;)

Gun on spawn was removed more than a week ago... And you can just ignore that error message, it changes nothing. Just try going for the nearest town ( or if you like danger but better odds, go to the Balota air strip ) and walking slowly or going prone to loot open houses and outdoors barns.

It happened to me once... I died at Elektro i think and i respawned on the city I had just visited before... just like if the game hadnt recorded that I had died and thought I had left the server there... Yes mostly a lucky bug :D

That sounds like your friend might have shot you by mistake ! I've never been hit for more than 2k blood personally and it was quite brutal !

Does that include all the supermarkets and firestation? and all the other buildings?

I just reached the NE airstrip about 10 minutes ago and I just found some good weapons and equipment. It made me wonder however, since the airstrip is about the same as the one in Balota, do the items spawned there are in general of better quality than in Balota? It would make sense, considering the time you must invest just to get there. The same goes for the NW airfield, except for the barracks, are items there supposed to be of the same quality as the other airfields, even though it's all the way to the north and takes forever to get to?

Ok so now I KNOW it's part of the game but... geez. I just spent the last hour or so following the road to get to the barracks of the NW airport. I was pretty excited to loot some good stuff... only, when I arrived there, I was bone breaked and put inconscious by a Zed through the window and died... THAT'S frustrating . I HATE DAY Z. GHYSDGHSFASDASDGADFSGDAFG !!!... Okay let's respawn :)

Oh so wait... I think you didn't understand the point of this game... You must NOT survive. You are trapped in a freakin hostile world where every inhabitant have been infected with a disease that boosts their strength, aggressiveness and speed. You SHOULDN'T be able to shoot at 3 men running at twice your own speed while running backwards. This is not L4D, there is no point A to B to win, no justice. And yes, I also almost bleed every moderate to major encounters I have with Zeds. That's why I keep it to the minimum amount. This isn't a shoot'em all, it's a survival. And btw, you wonder how they can knock you out so easily ? Just try fighting with any man that weights 100 more pounds than you, who doesn't pain, doesn't hesitate to punch you as hard as he can and can actually hit about twice as hard as he should. THAT is Day Z ! YOU shall NOT survive :D not even sorry for the long and horrifying post !

You're not alone friend... I just wish Rocket would let the global chats on while we wait for the radio/phone system of 1.8 . I know he's pretty busy already, but I can't say I really enjoy playing anymore... Guess I'll come back when the next patch is up !

I have to agree with Ironil. Just tested it out with a friend too in a beta server, direct channel doesnt work via text or mic. switched to steam too.

yeah that would be a great radio system and I'm really looking forward to it's introduction to the game ! I'm convinced it would had a new twist to the old solo survival or prematched groups.

but thats the point ! It could potentially be your killer. On the situation right now, its more of a KOS then anything else, thus the lack of realism on that part too. He could betray you later on and take your stuff, not shoot every human he comes across...

Unless I've been horribly unlucky, I've tried several times to use text on direct chat to communicate with strangers or friends, with no result. I also never saw a single message posted on the direct chat neither.
