I kill on sight! Too many times have I tried to make nice and it backfire on me. I kill before i get killed. I do however try to avoid the "new" spawns. It is pointless to kill the unarmed unless they make threats or just run at me all crazy eyed. -

An hour won't give you the satisfaction that is deserved. Once you have several hours in and have felt the fear,anxiety,rush, the heart pounding excitement and all the other feelings of this amazing game, then and only then will you know the purpose. Just FYI, I really don't think that difficulty setting applies to DAYZ. The mod is what it is. equally as difficult for everybody. :) Until you find some mates to team up with, head inland and loot barns and stuff. Might keep you alive longer until you get a handle on the game and a little more familiar with the map itself. -

Do not give up. You will die many times. Sometimes by outrageous things. This MOD is not perfect, after all we are testing the game and asked to give feedback on things we find wrong or even right. Alixtheone is right. Learn from your mistakes. I assure you, you will catch on and like me, completely enjoy this amazing adventure. -
