I also use 3rd person because I get better FPS when running through the miles and miles of fields and forest. -

Servers should be allowed to decide. Plus it's nice to step back and take a look at my character every now and then. --- Only first person? Well in that case you better make me aim and throw grenades as fast as Battlefield 3 because this shit is so god damned clunky (even with good sensitivity settings) that I want to fall over. If it took me as long to sight on a target in real life as it does in Arma II, I wouldn't even be here right now. I would have been a haji's bitch a long time ago. -

What advantage is the Military Flashlight?

As a military veteran - I can confirm it is red because the light doesn't "carry" as far away and doesn't affect your ability to see in the dark like a normal one would. Plus it is easier to toss a cammie blouse over a group of you looking a map on the hood of a vic and discuss a plan of action without your light shining through and making you look like a glowing ball lol. -

I have one gripe at the moment...just a simple thing... Why in the fuck is there not a confirmation when you click "respawn"? I just lost days worth of shit because I wanted to edit my options and clicked "Repsawn" by accident. User error yes, but every other program in the world asks you for a confirmation before committing to an option that will totally jack your shit up. I think of it as modern day, programmable, common courtesy. ---- *puts on flame suit for the fuck sticks who just like to troll* -_-

Obvious fan boy with low IQ is obvious. You like the fact that DayZ is a hardcore simulation right? Simulations are meant to SIMULATE (see the similarity??) real life and capabilities. This option does that. Quit dick riding DayZ and go fuck yourself. :) <3
