Can I install Arma 2+Arma 2 OA onto a HDD but override the mod directory so that DayZ and all DayZ maps will be installed and load from my SSD? Will I get a benefit of ssd speeds while playing DayZ this way?

Namalsk is my favorite map. I just love the entire concept of it. Player vs Environment is my favorite part of this game. It's not the Player vs Zombies or Players vs Players aspect. You actually have to scavenge for your food, drinks, first aid, heat packs, etc. You don't easily stock up on a truck load of gear and then go camp Sniper hill and pick off Bambis for days on end.

Any feedback from your experience will be appreciated.

I've made several modifications to my Chernarus server and changed hosts for security reasons to increase server uptime for a better experience. Because my Chernarus server has a.i in it I've opted to start players out with a basic Pistol for their protection. If you're a fresh Bambi or Survivor/Hero please do not shoot on sight at Hero NPC's otherwise you'll lose Humanity and they will begin to shoot back eventually unless you plan on being a Bandit that is. All Bandit a.i will shoot on sight regardless. Chernarus Server information: Spawn with a Makarov, 1 can of beans, 1 can of Pepsi, 1 Painkiller and 2 Bandage Default Vehicle Limit has not been modified This server runs SAR's a.i script which means you'll encounter NPC Survivors and Bandits randomly Cherno Power Station is operational and provides electricity to houses and buildings Build your own House or Base using materials you collect! Take parts from Vehicles to repair other Vehicles Siphon gas out of Vehicles to fill up Jerry Cans Tow damaged Vehicles Self Bloodbag yourself {Note: This action takes longer than if another player does it for you} Remove outfits from dead players Full Day and Night cycles are enabled -6 UTC Server up 24/7 unless being updated Origins Server Information: All Official DayZ Origins Standards and Rules apply to this server. Updated for #AOW Wasteland Survival Guide Origins server. Server now restarts every 6 hours with a 10 minute warning prior to the restart.

Bump for updates I'm sorry about US1770 going down. The server was restored on 4/10/2013 but there were still more technical issues with the server and I was unable to even start it up. This has now been resolved.

I'm unable to modify the frequency of server restarts for Origins I'm afraid.

Any feedback or comments about the servers from people here that have played on them? I really have no idea how many people from this site have played on them or not. But my traffic has been kind of steady on 2 of the 3 servers. Do people not like Lingor?

Thank you. :) I know one of the most common complaints I see about Private Hives are that they always give the players too much and they spawn too many custom vehicles in so I thought I'd offer Vanilla servers for those that want to play DayZ the way it was meant to be played.
