    thats the truth, we at dao have a machine from hetzner to. we pay 50box 25 win 39 gbit and run 3 dayz and 1 arma 1 there. 50 is more than hard if i would rent em out max 40 each or 35.

    I´m Thinking about to host 6 New DE Server´s with 50 slots. these makes in total 300 Slots for DayZ to get up this Machine i need only 150€ Monthly Installation,Maintenance is taken by me. to the Server specs: Intel Core I7 980X (Hexacore) 24Gb DDR 3 Ram 2x 120Gb SSD Windows! if u are intressted to help to get up this Huge Server with 300 Slots write me an Email: [email protected] or Visit us at: http://www.dao.nu right now we run: DE1,2 and 4 with 50 Slots very stable!

    ill talk about a 980 for 80 euros + 1000mbit 40euros + windows 25euros makes 145. if u use 2x 56 + 2x 25 i get 162 euros. but were here to discuss stuff like this i dont wanna get 55 each server cause thats to much.

    no problem, hardest is to get informed if something inst running as it should, cause im not 24/7 be there to check if everything is fine.

    dao de1 2 and 4 have nearly same specs, ovh doesnt have that specs. as i know .

    u need ArmA 2 Combined operations: means: ArmA 2 ArmA 2 Operation arrowhead i dont know if ArmA 2 Free is mergeable with OA. i also heard that some PMC faces are used which are without PMC (retail) have a low texture Quality!

    thanks for the word´s MAX, i had a Talk with Rocket Today, we have to less Server´s thats the thruth. ur right the Database Server is really Busy (i can smell it) but also i heard that with some release a local Database will be required. it was just an idea lets see what the Community wanna say to this. fun and Performance then the rest! here the DAO.nu Forum topic http://dao.nu/showthread.php?1199-DayZ-6-Server%C2%B4s-more-for-Germany

    thank´s for the words, all these stuff does eat up arround 80€ Monthly and a lot of work to keep it in this state running as it is. any Donations are welcome!
