After beta 93398 it is now possible to disable certain channels as described. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?135227-ARMA-2-OA-beta-build-93398-%281-60-MP-compatible-build-post-1-60-release%29 This is nice feature and one I wanted to control as server admin, but its the way that's its implemented is wrong and requires more work. If server runs many missions that means that we have to edit them all to implement this feature, and every single mission we download has to be edited to make this work. Solution is simple. Add this setting to server.cfg and leave the option for mission so its easier to control. Now mission setting might override server setting, but this might be subject of discussion. we at dao use this tool since it came up, better to say our Server´s are used to test the alphas of it. and i reccommend to use it. Problem is: the DayZ rules does not allow the use of BEC in most cases to kick etc. right now its only used to prevent spam connectors or to say People that they have to keep in english Language.

DAO DE5 could be rented from now, the curret owner wasnt really happy with the Rules given my the DayZ devteam.

i have 4 servers to give away! each for 50 euros monthly if u plan to host it longer i give 10% discount for a 2month payment. specs: 4,2ghz 24gb ram 75slots possible but a bit laggy then. located is the server in germany but time setting for all is utc-5 if u want to have one or need more info just write a mail to [email protected]

right now im Workin on a Server (Core I7 980) which does run in a different Timezone (UTC -3). after windows and stuff is installed it could take upto 2 day´s so its up on Saturday if no Problems come up with the Hardware. if u want to rent one of these Server´s just email us to: [email protected]

within the next 48 hrs

the physical location will be Germany, the time which the server will run is in the middle of the Ocean. i have not a big boat or island where i put the Server on.

DE 1,2 and 4 with 50 Slots, Service access,Rcon and Ingameadmin over chat! a small movie about ingame admin commandlist for ingame admin http://dao.nu/bild/Commands.pdf u can get each Server for only 50€ monthly. u can choose your own Servername. located in Germany. first 3 who write an email to [email protected] get it as first.

I hope i could help out with that outstanding performance, DE1 is left from 3 Server´s. if there are 4 more guy´s who need a Machine let it me know may i can set up to the weekend another one with same specs and stability!

since the population rised to over 5000 player´s at one time, its may not bad to install local databases to the Server or split em of to US/EU that they can work a bit faster as right now. it seems that it´s getting stuck when to much people online.
