    I'm using HFBServers, so I downloaded the .eu version, got it in. Downloaded epoch and EU files. Tried to load up, I either get "Wait for host", stuck at the briefing screen, or it says "Wait for host" and player selection screen. I've been trying to fix this for hours on end now and I'm losing my mind.

    I think a fan made trailer would be a good idea, except for one HUGE reason. Most people lack the skill to put together such a production, leaving out a large part of the community from the contest. Something fun and doable by everybody would be better, I liked the idea of the "golden ticket".

    Well yeah, but the typical reaction to being gunned down and then re-spawning nearby geared up would be to take them out. Pretty sure everybody would of made the same choice.

    Was watching Frankie and he suggested having a "story" in DayZ. For example he tries to find a "cure". I tried creating a theme to play by and it has made the game at least 10 times more fun to play, no exaggeration.

    Personally, I think a good release date would be in the fourth quarter, preferably October-Decemberish. It would allow a lot of work which is going to be done anyways to be done in advance and have a stronger release. The mod itself is just fine on it's own right now, no reason to release when a far better version could be released later.

    It's ridiculous to see how many people honestly think Mac's are garbage. With the iPhone and iPad jokes, people seem to think Mac's are low powered toys compared to PC's. The standard OS of a Mac, OSX, is easier to use than Windows, and coming from a person who's first computer was a PC, I wouldn't go back. I remember when I used to trash talk Mac's, then I bought one. Now I don't. It can't play some video games simply because the engine doesn't support it, not because it doesn't have the power to run it. So to all of you people who think that Mac's are trash, go buy one. Then come back and tell us which is the better all around computer.
