Ok I am trying to use a joystick, throttle, and rudder pedals setup to fly, and my helis always enter a hard left roll that i cant recover from. Any suggestions? Is there a way to calibrate in game?

Ok I am using a joystick, throttle, and rudder pedals to fly in game. When i enable the rudder pedals, it throws the heli into an UN-recoverable left roll. I cant figure out how to fix this. Any ideas?

Ok so I took everyone's advice and actually did come across some good weapons and a humvee. Now I need a place to store it. I tried to put an L85 and some other weapons and ammo imto my humvee, but they just dissappeard. Did the Humvee not have enough room or is this a glitch?

Hello, I am pretty new, but have been playing long enough to get familliar with the game, and the map. The only problem I have is that I have no idea where to look for decent weapons. The best I have found so far is the Lee Enfield. I found an AKM in an abandoned humvee, but it seemed that someone had just ditched it. I hear that military locations are good but I do not know where they are other than the airfields.

I straighten the wheels to the right with my mouse and then try to steer with the keyboard. I dont have to hit the gas it just takes off as soon as i get in and I cant back up. I have a HOTAS plugged in but it shouldnt have any imputs at the moment.

When I drive a car, it starts going forward and turns hard left with no input from me. Everything drives fine in Arma II single player. I only have this problem in DayZ. It seems like a calibration issue, like I am getting inputs from somewhere but I have no clue where. Any advice?

ok everything is downloading now, finally. I assume all the downloads like DAYZ Fallujah, Lingor, Isladuala, ect...are maps?

no but im in the middle of a reinstall right now. The first time I installed day z before arma. could that have messed something up?

I got arma 2 combined ops. and the day z mod from steam

I've done that. The directories also match my steam files, but it still says i dont have arma installed

ok i downloaded it, but when I installed it it said I did not have arma II combined ops or day z installed. Is it just not detecting the correct version, or the game and mod completely? If it is still just the wron version, how do I update?

I just downloaded arma and dayz and I cant join a server because my version is apparently out of date. I downloaded the game and mod through steam. How do I update to the current version?
