I do wish ACRE was part of DayZ. Why reinvent the wheel when acre does already everything for directional sound and radios?

Most likely, those who bought ArmA2 and not willing to buy another game will find some other zombie mod that's out there.

I'm not a pony fan but I hope this meeting works out. It would be pretty cool if a group can successfully defend itself from everyone else who is out to get them.

You need a lot of ram for these huge maps and consoles just don't have the capacity.

I don't have to accept it; I can still try to kill bronies in DayZ. :) But what you said is true. For example, there are millions of people who have watched the entire and yet nobody expressed a desire to 'kill' them or insult their social skills or whatever. Why pick on the bronies when there's so much weirdness in this world?

It's funny how the "I'm a Mac" ads portrayed PC's as only good for boring spreadsheets while the Macs have all the fun. Guess they forgot about all the PC games... I know I'd rather play DayZ than Angry Birds or Tap Tap Revenge.

ArmA2 flourished under a private server model. DayZ's hive model is new for ArmA, it is one of the reasons why it is unique among all the other zombie mods but it may not be sustainable.

DayZ/ArmA2 uses directX and that's a big problem for native mac/linux support.

You shouldn't have to justify what you do. DayZ needs more shooters who play by the rules of the game and fewer hackers and alt-f4's.

Don't take this game too seriously. I remember this story about Hulk Hogan. He once made himself out to be the ultimate good guy and role model and then became part of the bad guys. When he came out of the stadium to enter his limo, he was confronted by a mob of angry protestors and he wondered why they took it so hard. "Don't they know we're just entertainers?"

They won't be so easy once they realize they will have to live with the fact there's no escape from pvp if they want to complete their objectives.

No PvE. In ArmA2 you can do whatever you want, even spawn little ponies. But DayZ is supposed to be about a certain emotional experience that you can't get from other games.

It's very good and even has moving target practice. It's on a flat runway though so there's no elevation practice.

And how would it make them feel if the pretty pink little pony fans kick their @$$? See, there's a big risk involved. Yes, they may win but if they lose, they will have lost to players named "Pinkie Pie" and "Twilight Sparkle." I dunno man. I've seen this happen too many times.

This can either be very nice...or can be used as a baiting tactic. It would be funny watching them run for their very dear lives because they thought you were trying to axe them.
