I've been so far from both corners of the map on a full regular and full hardcore server and it seems that most people are either to the east on the coast or in the middle of the map.

It works and doesn't work at the same time. Got shot by it myself once, instadeath. Friend of mine tried to kill a guy that had been tailing us for half an hour, shot him from 5m distances, all he did was scream and bleed a bit, ran away bandaged and just kept on running.

What's the difference between Regular & Hardcore?

Rare? i've been on the same server so far, ran from kamenka to berezino, looted the entire area for supplies, items in every building, zombies everywhere, met tons of other friendly people, went up to NEAF, got kitted out, headed west to NWAF, moved down to the south today, met 3 more friendly people, so far hardcore has been the best dayz experience for me since the mod, better looting, more interaction, more immersion, less kos'ers(they seem to hate first person :D ) -
Atleast it looks awesome, keeping mine until they fix it.

I can see both daytime and nighttime servers that are located close to me, UK, GER, NL, SE, NOR, list goes on, i switch between hardcore and regular and most daytime servers seems to be hardcore and they're pretty enjoyable to play on, try out hardcore and see if you can find any servers with daytime(though usually fill up like most daytime servers do). I'd enjoy nighttime a bit more if they actually added in lighting from certain houses or lamposts around certain areas.

That actually looks great.

Your Best, "Worst" Vehicle moment in DayZ

A friend was driving a sedan towards elektro from cherno, he quickly gazed at the ocean and said over skype: "look at how beautiful that damn ocean is" turned back his head and saw the road block we crashed into, long story short... we survived flipping a sedan 15 meters up in the air and it blowing up.
