Windows 8 is better optimized for gaming than Windows 7 in more games than not. Proven fact. Even more proof. These aren't opinions, they're facts. Numbers don't lie. So many people are bitching and moaning that their sandwich is cut into squares and not triangles, that they're forgetting why they bought it in the first place: because they wanted a sandwich. Windows 8 has its faults, make no mistake, but saying that it's outright garbage is just bullshit.

Decent, 40ish in unpopulated areas, 30 in populated areas. It will run. You'll have to run at low settings and I wouldn't expect blistering performance but 20-30 fps should be doable. This.... wow. Ok, first off, that triple core can probably turn into a quad core - google it. Secondly, you're wasting a gig of RAM by running a 32bit OS. Fix that asap as Windows is holding it back. For the sake of argument, I'll assumt you have a 5770. I wouldn't expect much more than 30fps anywhere to be honest.
