As part of our efforts to include our community's suggestions regarding the server, the server now runs a day/night cycle, and the number of vehicle spawns has been decreased from 300 to 200, to make vehicles more of a commodity. :)

Such a great game, yet it's really quite hard to find a decent server to play on these days. There's not enough players on that one, there's not enough loot on this one. It's all modded servers, new maps, and all that kerfuffle. Even if you find a great server that you enjoy, something is always bound to ruin it. As soon as you start getting immersed in the game, hackers shut the server down, or some guy comes along, kills you without warning, and takes all of your hard earned loot. The bastards. I mean, sure, you can go and play on the servers that everyone else plays on, be part of the pack, and have to suffer through all of that. Or, you could be adventurous, and try something new. On our Source-Gamer DayZ Server, we've kept things simple. No installing ridiculous mods, no hard to install maps. Just simple, clean fun. Our server runs a day/night cycle, running on GMT time. There is also military loot, which all adds to the fun of the game! When you login, you'll be greeted with a very bountiful starter inventory, containing food, water, bandages, weapons, and more useful kit you might need in the post apocalyptic fields of Chernarus. Explore the coastline, and you may find vehicles, such as cars, helecopters or bicycles. With 200+ vehicles on the map, you'll have to put a bit of work into finding vehicles, exactly like it would be in a post-apocolyptic situation! Need fuel for your vehicle? No need to muck around with jerry cans, just park up at your nearest petrol station, and use the scroll wheel to select 'Refuel'. This is one of the few mods that we felt is important enough to be included on the server, without altering gameplay too much for players. This means less time looking for jerry cans, more time driving! Also, all of our Admins are incredibly experienced with DayZ and the inner workings of the game, so will be able to help you per your request.
