    I've no idea what the latest version is. I just downloaded 1.7.6.1 & I still can join any servers. Its pretty infuriating to be honest. Why are there so many versions?

    I just got the game yesterday from Steam. Wouldn't Steam have the latest version, or do you mean latest "beta" version?

    I have connection issues as well. I just got the game yesterday (ARMA2/CA/DayZ) & connecting to a server has been a enormous frustration. I believe the version I have from Steam is 1.6.2 & I get rejected by most servers, & some of the ones I do get in I sit on the screen (Please wait for your character something or other) infinitely. I believe I spent just as much time trying over & over to connect to a server as I actually had time to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
