This does make sense... Well some households I can imagine where there lived a hunter (with that many deerstands there had to be shitloads of them living in Chernarus) was taking his gun apart for cleaning and oiling or whatever, leaving the optics lying around there... Anyhow, accessories spawning attached to guns makes a lot of sense. I've just been in the tent area north of NWAF today going through pretty much every tent and every second one had a PSO-1 scope inside. I mean, for the guns they fit on being so rare there sure were a hell of a lot of those optics... And I don't know where they came from :P

They can also GET inside very quickly. Through the damn wall...

Rain could actually break the game (for me at least) this way... I've been on servers where it had been raining for ten minutes, then stop, and a minute later start again for ten minutes. Honestly I'm not playing DayZ to sit in a shelter all day waiting for the rain to stop.

Yup, that's exactly it. I'm still wondering why it's there - there's no road on that meadow and honestly I don't think there should be one... There's already a road a few dozen meters south of it and the train tracks a few dozen meters to the north...

It does happen. A lot. I just went up a ladder in Dobroe... shouldn't have done that. As soon as I reached the top end I was dead. And of course, my body was gone. A real shame, I had some good stuff with me :P

I happened upon that thing as well today... It's obviously not done yet, though. Nothing spawns there and the walls of the buildings aren't actually there (you can walk through them) and the doors don't work. [Just realised you already mentioned this] Found another weird thing just 100 or 200 meters from there though, if you follow down the road out back of that "compound", in the middle of the meadow to the right there's something that resembles a gas station... it looks horribly out of place.

lol you just made me remember... We did log out with those characters in the middle of Vybor. Logged back in and they were right as we left them.

Mh... I'm not entirely sure but I don't think we logged out with those characters before they died... (We died a lot these past few days so I don't quite remember what was what)

That started for me two or three days ago... I died and then respawned in Vybor, naked, healthy, hydrated, energized. Alright. Might be a bug. I'll just go with it. Next time I died I respawned in the middle of nowhere, at the foot of a hill, near a town I don't quite remember the name of. I died soon after, I don't remember why. Then I respawned on the street next to a big factory (nowhere near the coast) - I never found out where I was. My next spawn was south of Swetlojarsk, that was a normal one, and my buddy blew us up with a gas station... I haven't yet found out where I currently spawned but it doesn't look to be close to the coast either. EDIT: It was Polana.

My buddy yesterday had one of his bright moments, blowing up a gas station around us by hitting the fuel pump with his fire axe. His quote: "I didn't think that would work..."

I got into a firefight at NWAF - was in the prison building with my buddy. And when we wanted to come back out, two guys opened fire on us, so we ran back in and closed the door. One of them now stood on the opposite side of the building watching us through the wall while the other guy aimed at the door (we found out because my buddy opened the door and died - it wasn't his brightest moment)... I only had about 20 shots in my SKS and one of the two was pacing back and forth in front of the door... so I tried to get a shot at him as often as I could... when I heard him reloading I ran outside and emptied my remaining bullets in him. He dropped to the floor but I had no ammo left and the other guy was still around, so I got my fire axe and gave his body a few more hits just to be sure he won't get back up. Then I just ran. That guy's friend tried to shoot me but couldn't hit me... Aaaand then - I was bleeding and all of my bandages were ruined. Had nothing to stop the bleeding and couldn't find anything to bandage myself with either... so I just bled out somewhere :P Guess you win that one. Kinda.

Well I ate and drank until I was stuffed but that state was never one I saw... EDIT: Wait, do both hydrated and energized have to be bright green? In that case I guess I need to eat even more... after being stuffed... which is weird...

Since I don't want to create a new topic just for this one question and as it's related to... well... blood... I'll ask it here: I've had blurry vision for a while now, due to several zombie attacks, some with bleeding some without. Anyhow, I've been keeping myself energized and hydrated for a good while now but the blur won't go away (the only thing I can do is go to video options and MAKE it go away...) So how long does it take for blood to naturally regenerate? Or does the blurred vision have other reasons entirely?

I haven't been playing the standalone for a long time, but after 40ish hours for the first time I actually carry a pistol with the corresponding magazine AND ammo! A miracle! I do think at least some guns should spawn with a magazine, even if it's an empty magazine...

Well I can see that problem... But I had a problem once that would make this hard to balance. In the mod I've spawned on the beach six times and was shot down by some sniper each time until I apparently spawned out of his reach...

Well I suicided only once and that was because I spawned and instantly had three zombies on my ass that I had to kill with my bare fists leaving me with nothing at all. So I jumped off a building and tried again.

Can you present any logical reason why you would so tenaciously deny a player to commit suicide?!

What Accolyte said. I'm also using the GT 740M and I also have 8GB RAM, but I'm using an i7-4700MQ processor. With that I can play DayZ on fairly high settings with occasional lag.

I also found a Mosin and an SKS there, and a bayonett for one of them... But I don't really think the loot on that ship is really worth the risk.

Uh... I drank from ponds a few times yesterday and it worked fine... I also shot a deer and a zombie and that worked fine, too...

I seriously don't know what you people have against that place - I looted it thrice without any problems :P Okay I admit the overlook is horrible and players could come from every side... nevermind...

If you require a map you can easily use the ingame browser in the steam overlay for it.

I know only of one because I've seen it rather recently. You see Drozhino. Right above the last "o" there should be a crash site.

I wonder what's wrong with your controls, some things can only be found by moving while having the inventory open o.O
