Ever since I started playing Day Z in May I have seen Goons complaining about how people keep signing up for the forums just to gain access to their private servers and then grief them. I am pretty sure they are well aware of your mad-scientist-cackling subversion at this point. Forums drama: just one more reason I play alone, and almost exclusively on servers with <5 people on them.

Sk1e, are you seriously making a post to claim that no women play this game? I do not understand what you mean if not. Edit: WOW, apparently this window had been open a while, sorry. That was on page 16, saying "gender? This isn't WOW!"

This was true in some ways in the past, particularly about 7-10 years ago, but as the forums became more generally popular, and as the focus of the front page became less about antagonizing people and more about general comedy, that attitude became a lot less prevalent. It would not surprise me if the percentage of Goons who hack or duplicate items or whatever were basically the same as the percentage of people from Reddit or 4Chan or 9Gag or 15cx who do those things. It is just that the Goons are more likely to identify themselves as such.

I love the shirt that won the vote, even though I can already tell I will have to explain to dozens of people who ask "what's 'dayz?'" that it actually says "Day Z."
