DayZ on two computers without buying twice?

You'll need two copies of Combined Operations - one for each computer. Two Steam accounts will be necessary, but you don't need to download the game on the second computer. Just back up the game files via Steam and transfer the files that Steam creates to the other computer. Login into the second Steam account on the second computer and run the "steambackup.exe" file that steam created. Voila, you now have CO installed on both computers if you have done this right. Edit: This is the only way to have two separate characters within Dayz, as your character is based off your unique Operation Arrowhead key. -

Exactly. No one wants to play on your easy mode server. It isn't very fun to use 3rd person/use crosshairs and not very sporty to find range and player name simply by hovering over them for a second. I could get shots off like no other if I was on your server. Why don't you get on my level and join a server that challenges anyone above 8 years of age? -

You'd have to contact them. Rocket gave them special help very early in the mod and they were involved in helping promote it from what I remember. Send them a message on Youtube or on the forums and see what the SOP is, as I have absolutely no idea. -

I can tell by the way you're talking in your video that this will probably never happen. You seem to be a pretty big noob - the type that think they can snipe but in fact get counter sniped like little girls because you move around too much and don't take proper cover. I, like stuffnthings, don't miss my shots. I find range quickly and take the shot and have about a 90% hit rate. Maybe someday you'll move up the ladder, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. You may reply with witty comments on the forums, but after I take a shot at you in-game, the only reply I'll get is your body falling limp on the ground. -

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a topic when the mod was young. The only people that are allowed to have a filming server or anything of real use for spawning weapons/vehicles to make filming easier are the Bashurverse guys. You might want to get in touch with them if you want to film, as I remember Rocket saying specifically that they are the only ones that will be given the resources necessary to create proper videos on actualy DayZ servers. However, if you wanted to use the editor to film rather than a server, you may have some success. I've fooled around in the editor, but haven't found it worthwhile nor easy. Your call. -

Because they were bugged due to an update (1.7.2), so they were removed from spawns for now. They will be put back in sometime soon. Why do people feel the urge to make such useless topics? -

Coding takes a long time. Especially when you're going through thousands of lines of code trying to figure out the triggers for certain issues. You may have to rewrite entire sections of your code because they just screwed up several other features. In the course of rewriting you may make a mistake which screws up another feature, while you have still fixed the other initial issues. It takes time to get the kinks worked out, but be assured that Rocket and his team will fix the issues in due course and release a stable build to the public. In the meantime:
