I'm a very new player to Dayz. I started playing today as of Tuesday, March 26, 2013. I will be checking back at this topic frequently, so please don't feel discouraged to post even if it's a few days after this post. Anyways, here's my problem. I've heard of a very effective method that a lot of people have been using with ArmA 2's config file located at C:\Documents\ArmA 2. The method is to simply change the values from... GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=3; to... GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; ...And that's exactly what I did. However, it gave me absolutely no fps boost. I have a GTX 560 Ti with the latest driver version. I went to Nvidia's control panel and selected Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames to 1. I launched the game and there was no fps changes, I changed the value to 4 for the next attempt, but still no fps changes. The Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames setting has "Use the 3D Application Setting" option and values 1-4. There is no "0" for this setting (been removed long time ago). So, unless I'm doing something wrong....I don't know. I'm just so confused and want to play so bad. It's the whole reason why I bought ArmA 2: Combined Operations. Here are my system specs: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4ghz Nvidia Gtx 560 Ti 5GB of RAM Windows 7 HALP
