I relish the thought that the dayz SA wil grow and develop for some time to come.. as in years... who knows SA mark 2.0 might have maps where we can relate to the environment in a way never before imagined. consider a section of NZ like Devonport... or even a section of NY or london. the possibilities are endless. -

Remove the ability to store rifles in backpacks

Hunting backpacks are not make believe despite there being no in game models for them. If we are to remove the ability to store a rifle in a backpack then surely a these need to be removed too. jerry can wheel engine fuel parts glass tank trap etc etc etc etc.... I think its a good idea in theory.. maybe have special hunting backpacks that allow for a rifle to be stored! And have us carry the heavier items.... -

Pick any one of a thousand cities worldwide that has them. The future of Dayz is not restricted to chernarus or the arma engine. Maybe it is time you consider what is outside the box?

I agree chernarus is big enough. Even on a server with 40+ players regular it is easy to dissapear in it.

hello fellow looters and shooters. So for the last 5/6 days I have been playing on dayz origins. i found a server with 10 or so players on most nights and had found a new home. I spent much time and effort helping others and killing zombies and humanity is 4000 so I built a house and started building a garage. Fixed a chopper, car and a truck that now looks a little mad max. So in essence I invested alot of time in this server and this character. Today the server went offline and when it went back up all my things are goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeee........... I asked in side chat and others have lost thier cars and houses too. ive googled and googled how can I find out who the admin is and how to contact them.. maybe its yours? name ''TheUltimatum70'' IP > 109.70.149.119:2322 any elp appreciated.

1: great way to keep dust and water out of the barrel of your gun. Last thing you need is your gun jamming when a z tries to take your eyes out. 2: a condom can hold around 5 gallons of water. invaluable. 3: sex with a zombie needs to be safe! 4: place condom on your head and inflate using the thumb method .. you can then do the dance of mirth. -

Should there be rewards for surviving a long time?

The idea is sound however a diferent application would be beter. So.. no bonus once you respawn so that the death= start again holds true however nothing to stop you gaining some small advantage whislt your still alive in that long survival run. So for instance if you have been alive for 10 days you might get a reduction on your thirst meter as you have learned to manage your fluid usage better. Or you could have the same with hunger meter. or perhaps after 30 days of survival you could be blessed with increased sprint stamina.. minor bonuses for surviving longer that die along with you. nothing game changing nothing that would give you big advantages ina fire fight just minor aids to your way of life. anyone have suggestions? oooh I have one.. some kind of skin that you get after a certain period.. might make others think twice about sahooting you or even beter might make them focus on you instead of the bambi. like a ranger skin or some thing. -

i m betting that there wil eb some serious complaining from many who expect something they are not going to get. -
simple solution. all players start with the same stats. However if you want to fly a heli you ned to find a heli tutorial guide.. once read youve got the skill to fly one. until you die. can be applied to other skills like vehicle repair or hunting.. so you get more meat from your kills. could be 2x or 3x. this is viable and would be fun.

did you read the poll? Have you followed the dev blogs? from what I have seen certain aspects of the game are going to be either inaccesable or very hard for solo players. such as heli flying and repairing vehicles etc etc. on a side note... good poll. not sure what everyone moaning about anyone with any sense will do what I did and splitt in it 2 halves and to them 1 hour apart.
