Making the Machete more of a "Machete"
Walking Wounded replied to Holliday (DayZ)'s topic in Suggestions
I see your point. It does look a little out of place hanging there. Machete are 12 inches to 18 inches roughly im not sure about it being the wrong size.. but mayeb it could be a bigger machete. To be honest I think it looks terribad on your back as does the pipe wrench. surely we dont have to have every melle pinned to our backs. Can we have them on our belts? Its amatuerish to say the least Mr hall! -

@ teeasy Why did you start bashing the US education system? I live in the EU. <_<

I read somewhere that they would not be simply free roambut would require a loading menu/time between the two meaning no shooting or direct interaction bewtween them. Well this is how I understood it at least.

Google is your freind. And yes I have fallen on my head many times. Luckily I allways wear a helmet.

Of course mein kampf. It is very interesting. There are people in the big wide world who didnt learn as much as you.. Respect thier desire to learn of the mind of the man who murdered thier kin. On a side note. This is after all a game where we hack infected's in the head with fire axes and blow people away with shotguns. I put it to you that as a German your a little oversensitive about your nations past. Stying on topic I just watched a Frankie video on ''the last of us'' he was quite good. not sure what the anti frankie club is based upon?

Not sure why this avatar is making you all so angry. I think its social conditioning and an overeaction to it more than genuine displeasure at the content of it. Would you be so against it if it were Josef stalin? Attila the hun? Idi amin? Ghenkis Khan? Pol pot? Vlad the impaler? I understand of course that Adolf is one of most recent bad guys but really he was a very clever man and wrote some very interesting books. In case your wondering I lost 3 family members to the regime and I hold no grudges.

Firstly you knew they would kill you if they saw you. Having seen the bambi die. You have 2 choices. 1. exit the area and be vigilant from that moment fourth.. sooner or later you will probably meet again. 2. kill them. tell them you dont like bambi killers. Not sure how to go about option 2. Ive never been one for shootouts with groups. This siad on the few occasions in the past on the mod when I have done this we usually splitt up and appraoch the group from 2 sides. The first shoter makes usre he has fallback position *( over a ledge or into good cover) the other shooter is the one who does the killing. when 1 guys opens up the group will usually face that way and return fire with a view to moving in closer.. with backs turned the other guy is free to rain hell. In theory of course!

16 hours played Ive killed 4. 3 who attacked me and 1 who didnt respond to communication and blocked my way out.

Players are more attached to loot then keeping character alive
Walking Wounded replied to Pokerguy12's topic in General Discussion
Be honest as it stands now as dayz deathmatch everyone wants military gear in one or another shade of green the only guys ive seen wearing anything else have been looking for something better. You do however have a valid point. What can we sugest? im sure that Rocket has gone through ideas with the team a thousand times and has hit a brick wall. How do you maintain free will, dynamic experiences and a system that promotes teamwork? When I was growing up computer games promoted critical thinking, problem solving and creation. While some of these aspects still remain the mainstream gaming is dominated by games where the sole purpose is to destroy! Yes COD im looking at you.. what have you done to a generation of gamers>? so Rocket, dev team,.... anyone! what have you got? hows it going to be done? either there is a stick involved for aggresion or some candy for co-op...
