one more time, Im not mad about this posts because i also postet one some days ago. DayZ is in alpha state right now. Its being testet. Its like buying a prototype of a car. You know that there could be difficulties, errors,.. . The prototype is for locating these errors and work on a fix so that normal casual customers can enjoy the full "entertainment" of the car.Same with the alpha and games with early acces. So dont worry, wait 1 month or try it again with the next update. Im sure Dayz is not your only game you have installed. maybe, if you have it, play the mod. Be patient and everything is gonna be alright. if not, make another thread 1 or 2 months later. Greetz, Trollz0r

Nearly had the same prob. with a other game. What gpu you have? newest drivers? in my case, it simply wasnt the latest driver... Greetz

First of all hey guys, i posted a thread about fps issues a few days ago, because i only get like 20 fps in cities. I bought a new msi geforce gtx 760 twin frozr and was wondering why. So, as you know, dayz is in alpha state. Alpha means, its being testet. It doesnt say you can run it without having any problems or crashes or...I realized this too late. But: With every purchase of dayz you help rocket to create a awesome game. I can imagine rocket working on every single fix really hard. he seems to be that kinda person, that would like to give every player a great experience while playing his game. So dont worry. maybe wait 1 month and play other games. or if theres a update, try it out again. There will be a fix, and im pretty sure about that. Dont go crazy, be patient. Greetz, Trollz0r

Hi guys of the DayZ Forum! I looked for a solution quite a while and didn´t find anything really helpful. You´re my last chance to get the Standalone working good! My Problem: so i had the nvidia Geforce gtx 560ti a week ago and had about 20 fps in elektro. It was really laggy, so i decided to buy a new graphics Card and bought the MSi GTX 760 twin frozr. Battlefield 4 on high? no probs. Working fine. Now i understand that you cant compare bf4 and dayz if it comes to FPS, but now i have about 20-25 fps in Elektro. I tried to change Graphics settings. In Elektro, everything on low--> Still 25- max. 30 fps. Resolution is 1920x1080. Tried different types also. Min. Increase of about 3-5 fps. All my Settings: Intel Core i7 2600k CPU @ 3.40 GHz MSI GTX 760 twin frozr Samsung SSD BenQ XL2411t 8GB of Ram 64 bit Win 7 if theres any suggestion you could give me, i would be really glad I just want to play the standalone smooth. Thank you guys! I also was thinking of overclocking. Maybe yes. Thanks for the vid, i will look into it. I have a big hope in Dean and the producers, to optimize what they can. I trust them and will stick with them from the first day of the mod till the end. I also gotta say the community is awesome, not even 1 hater comment, everyone is trying to help me :D Edit: in the video you show the video memory you can choose. theres a bug with my standalone: i cant see what is in there. its just like 4 or 5 white boxes but nothing is in it. You know a fix? or can you post a screenshot so i can see whats in there?

only 1 thing: where are u guys from? i can speak english but not very fluent so i guess skype wouldnt be a good idea ^^

its not only for dayz. you can also have fun with arma operation arrowhead coop multiplayer. great fun. Its totally worth it. like statik said ;)

i dont know if it helps you but if you dont have a compass this is great: clouds in dayz ( chernarus) always fly to the east. It really helped me to find bigger citys like elektro or cherno without map or compass. sry for my english im german :DD greez

just disconnected for about 20 minutes and when i spawned again, my cz sniper riffle changed into a lee enfield. this bug happened about 3 or 4 times to me. its really annoying. will it ever be fixed!? sry for my english ;) Greetz

Yep defenitely^^ as i said it happened 2 or 3 times AND on different servers :DD

So first of all, im a hero with few exceptions. I love it to heal people and help them wherever they want to. But if they shoot at me or if i yell at them to put the weapon at the ground and they dont do it for like 20 sec. I break them a leg first or knock them out. If they start shooting again i kill them. Now to my story. Maybe some of you guys know the map „Celle“. If you dont know it, try it its great fun (origin is better but i wander from one topic to another). So it started directly in celle and my friend on the teamspeak and me (guess what, he´s also a hero) decided to go to the airfield. It was my first time playing dayz since ages so i dont watched the food a and drink thing on the right side oft the screen. As we ran through a forrest near a field my friend spotted 2 guys with a double barreld shotgun and 1 of them had a ghillie suite and a ak. We yelled at them for like 20 sec. But they started shooting at us. First we wanted to run away ( we had both a ak with kobra but as i said were heroes) but then i decided to knock them out and then run away. It worked but i remembered theyre clantag „TGA“. Later at the airfield we first went to the firestation when we heard someone talking in direct chat. We decided to hide in the firestation and tried to calm them down when they entered. Then the Teamspeak crashed. I totally panicked cause i didnt know what my friend is going to do now. 15 sec after that i collapsed (in dayz ya evil bastrds not in real life) because i had no more blood ( as i said i forgot about the screen on the right). At the „Knock out screen“ i suddenly saw those 2 guys shooting but my friend saved me and killed them. We had no bloodbag cuz we found no hospital on the way so i had to eat tons of our beans. We wanted to leave the airfield bacause it was too dangerous when the 2 guys from the field we met before arrived. Those 4 were from the same clan, but now we just ran off instead of shooting. About 15 min later teamspeak worked again and my friend and me found a heli, next to the airfield. We later found out, this was the heli of their clan. I guess this was our first bandit act, but please dudes out there, if someone says lay down your gun, do it. Ist the best thing for both.

i guess yes but i didnt copy it. i played dayz since the first day and frankie too so you could say we both invented it and maybe some others too :)

As the title says, it happened to me 3 or 4 days ago again. i had a cz sniper rifle and wanted to lay it down to the ground to pickup a AK. Then it was gone. Will this bug ever be fixed in the mod?
