Check out Elpis Host if you don't mind a Dallas based server. They have been absolutely amazing to work with. Sever setup is often done within an hour of placing an order and the two support tickets I have submitted have been resolved in a matter of minutes. I initially had a 200 ping limit on my server and still had a great amount of Euro players. The pings are very good no matter where you are at. The tent despawn 3 days after you die was announced many months ago but it was never implemented so consider that a rumor. The only thing that happens with your tent after you die is that you can no longer pack the tent and take it with you. As it stands now, established tents last forever (or at least until the next database wipe). They are more permanent than cherry kool aid on white carpet...

There is an engine block in the east hangar at Balota Airfield RIGHT NOW. But you should hurry, no guarantees it will be there for long.

I've read many of your posts on this forum over the previous months and I have a lot of respect for you from them, but this? Come on, I know you are better than that. Pissing about the barbed wire in the game does not equal asking for PVP free zones and you know it. That was way below your usual caliber of post. You said in your post lower in the thread that barbed wire is working as intended. Intended by whom? Rocket himself has said in several interviews that barbed wire was an experiment that did not turn out well. In fact he mentioned barbed wire specifically when he explained why he decided to take bases underground in the standalone (specifically that the building mechanics he had tried was mostly being used for greifing as it is now). I'm curious why you seem to be defending the wire in spite of Rocket's own misgivings about it. North south east west, there is nowhere you wont find it, it's less prevalent but I've found wire in front of just about every deerstand at one time or another. Surely you have noticed this..... You are right that it is not entirely game breaking, but in terms of mechanics it definitely needs to be re-evaluated in it's current implementation.

Same here, I read a bit on a forum about the game back in April but it wasnt until I saw the first sidestrafe clip on youtube a week or two later that I finally took the plunge. Sounds like I'm about 10 episodes behind, I need to check out the rest sometime. Also agree with the poster above about the Mythbusters clips. Very good stuff there....

First thing I'd suggest is to test with a friend whether or not he can hear you. It could be that the people you tried talking to in direct chat didn't have a mic themselves and could not reply. It may or may not be working. Testing with a friend is the best way to know for sure.

They also mentioned that the interiors of buildings are going to be completely redone with better testures and clutter to address the current "sparse" interiors we currently have.

Looks great but it was a shame you recorded that in such bland mid-day lighting. Sunrise or sunset would have easily taken it up another notch or two.....

Heh, the thread reminded me of this old gem....I know it's a bit out of context for this thread but a little levity is always good right? I play games to get away from all the bullshit I have to deal with in life. There is a REASON you don't see religion factoring into many game mechanics...
