Was there a character wipe today? I am confused. I just had my character wiped again. I was on my way to the north-east airfield and then the server crashes, so I join another one and I'm back on the coast. After that I assume it must be a private server or something, so I join another server and I'm still on the coast. This is getting a little annoying, I always get my character wiped when I'm fully geared. I heard nothing about a character wipe today.

I know it's in alpha so bugs like this are to be expected. Hopefully making the developers aware of the bug could get it fixed sooner and will benefit us all.

I agree with this guy somewhat. Although I definitely think that it's worth buying and it doesn't ruin the game for me, I would much prefer a more polished engine than there is currently. At least when it comes to playing in first person. You shouldn't have your camera clipping through the wall, it really ruins the whole first person experience. That's one of the main reasons why I enjoy playing in third person most of the time. I really hope they improve on the engine while in the development of this game.

I will not attack a survivor unless they attack me. Honestly, killing everyone you see in a game like this just seems a little bit pointless to me. This game is all about player interaction. The fact that there's always a chance that the next person you meet can betray you makes player interaction in this game a whole lot more interesting and thrilling for me. -
On most servers, when you go onto them you are a different character as to what you were on the last server. These are called private hives, lot of private hives start you off with different gear than the normal DayZ loadout. Your character stays the same on all public hive servers, and public hive servers cannot start you off with any other gear than the normal loadout. Hope this helped.

Even though you're a brony, I do somewhat agree with you. I wish people didn't use Teamspeak or Skype or the forums to get a medic to heal them or anything like that, but there isn't any way to stop that, and the majority of players wouldn't like that so it isn't fair to remove it.
