I'm not condescending, but you simply don't get it. Giving duped gear to a survivor doesn't help him at all, you just destroy his game experience by letting him go thru a shortcut. Weapons and military gear are supposed to be rare and hard to get, by scavenging or fighting a lot.

Simply because that's the way you're supposed to play the game. If you want to get the weapon of your choice without taking any risk just go play an Arma SP or MP mission.

Agreed. I love using the hatchet to clear a path in crowded towns. I recently started a new character and I was only able to find a crowbar to go looting elektro. What a pain in the *ss! I almost think Rocket wanted to troll Valve and the HL fans with this weapon...

Move along kids, find another server , go play somewhere else to "fight the hackers with their gear". You really think that Rocket and the dev team approve the use of hacked weapon and duped backpacks? That they haven't anything more important to do than babysitting you and punishing the big nasty admins? Grow up ffs.

I know that holding down a key, like W, and then doing the Shift+Tab combo twice to open and close the steam overlay while still holding W allows you to eventually tell the game that the key is still pressed without needing to actually hold it. I hope I'm clear enough, and I think that maybe the menu bug is related to this "exploit".

I've already got the same issue, as if the TAB key was constantly pressed after using the SHIFT+TAB combo. Try changing that key combination with another that doesn't use the TAB key.

Well time will tell, but I think that Rocket's strategy and intents can't be compared to EA ones. For me their positions are rather contradictory.
