Normally it's not that big of an issue, and joining another server then joining back to the other server usually fixes it for me. This time it's different though; I can't join any server at all, and it doesn't even get to the authentication/character creation part.

I just got home and I wanted to start playing DayZ. I fired up DayZ Commander and proceeded to join my favorite server. I join the server, get past "receiving data" and then it gets to the DayZ screen and the progress bar is full and it starts counting to 40. Then, bam, there's the message "something went wrong! disconnect and try again!" I can't join any server at the moment, and neither can my friend. I haven't seen any threads on this yet, but I highly doubt me and my friend are the only ones that can't join a server. So are any of you having this problem/fixed it?

Earlier today I ran into 2 people who were fully geared in camo clothing and they started firing at me. I flanked around them and killed them. My screen "reset" as it does when you switch skins. I went into third person and I had the bandit skin and my humanity was -2000 something. Well, okay. I didn't want to be a bandit and now I knew I would have to work harder to get back to the hero, which is what I wanted in the first place, but no big deal I guess. I went up to a lighthouse (I was on the coast) and logged off and went to eat. When I came back and logged on, I still had the bandit skin but my humanity reset to 2500 (or something around there). After playing for pretty much all day with my friends, I eventually got up to 5000 humanity, but I still have the bandit skin. What do I need to do to get rid of it, and get the hero skin? Image:

A UH-1Y? Those do not spawn, and are impossible to spawn in DayZ. I'm guessing you meant a UH1H?

That would be the PDW, which spawns in the game, so if you're accusing him of something, there's no reason too.

Really now? Since when have we ever raided another camp/taken any other people's vehicles?

We've restarted a few times and the vehicles wouldn't despawn. We know it was you guys, but that person you just quoted is not one of us. And also, we don't really care.

I'm friends with KraaZe, and play with him regularly, and the helis does not despawn on server reset. We've tried a few times.

If that was US 700, I believe that was me. Except it didn't go exactly the way you described; I crashed due to Arma fucking up and my tail rotor slightly hitting the ground during landing causing an explosion. :(

What happened to this server? It was my favorite server, but it's been down all yesterday and today.

Scortchfix? Swelterfix? Just naming off synonyms, I have no clue, but I can't play for more than 5 minutes it seems like.

I want to start a server, and I probably will regardless of the answer to this question, but: can you control which vehicles will be on the server? For example, I've seen some servers have no vehicles, some have some vehicles, and some have helicopters as well. Is that controlled by the server admin, or what?

Not sure if this is an actual spawn (most likely not), but... I found a tractor in the middle of the road between Guvlovo and Novy Sobor.
