Brutal zeds. Hardcore survival. No custom loadouts. No daylight only servers. No side chat. Total immersion. Rare resources, food should be more important than a bazooka. If you still want a bazooka, experience frustration running around with it. This is not a cross country simulation. Found somewhere safe? Stick with it! We should be AFRAID to wander around, only as a desperate last attempt to gather food/medication. Team play oriented. To hell with CoD players, I have no sympathy to them and hope Rocket stay true to DayZ's original philosophy. -

Fair enough. Though this is really misleading: 'Realistic "Zombies" with custom animations - These once human creatures will act and behave as if they have a heighten sense of hearing and smell but less sight, on top of that they use motion captured animations such as walking and eating from your unconscious body. If you look into any built up area you'll see them walking around waiting for their next victim which dares to venture in.' They should update the game info, otherwise people will keep asking. -
David Hand must be rolling in his grave. Yeah, most of us get the conotation (what HE is trying to imply), but the word is so overused in such a douchey tone.. really, if I ever meet Frankie, I'll fucking murder him and tell him to grow some balls. And the fact Bambi passed thru some hardcore shit makes her even more badass, like the ultimate survivor. Kids nowadays are just too dumb to realize that. Cute innocent little deer my ass!

Loved this! Having a place to go during shitty weather would be great. Also +1 for labeled keys and the great sensation of looting and searching for someone else's 'hidden treasures'. Maybe a chest inside each house... And being able to reinforce windows/doors when surrounded by hundreds of incoming zombies. Ask for some buddies to distract the zombies and make a run for it... now THAT would be awesome. Night of the living dead FTW! -

Oooohhh hmmmmofff grrrr are definitely not scary lol The thing is there are no different types of zombies, not in a sense of "super powers" or "unique actions". They have basic brain/body functions and an almost unstoppable urge for flesh. That's it. In large numbers they can pose real threat. No need to add other 'new features' to their behaviour (other than some of Gews suggestions like path finding, fatigue, damage, etc). I'd love to have different looks: short, tall, skinny, fat, male/female, old, children \m/ -

I just think its stupid to see people going Commando and taking down an undead horde shooting nothing but their foot :/ Zombies are fictional characters, of course, but there's a whole concept and set of rules behind them. This isnt some random shit like arcade L4D zombies or Twilight vampires. -

Sorry, but the no headshot/instant kill is completely bs IMHO. This is the #1 classic zombies rule. Brain trauma = dead zombie. Severed or damaged body parts can slow them down, but it doesn't kill them. That simple change would give a whole new perspective to the game. -

After the whole Warz and SimCity fiascos, I don't mind waiting as long as rocket feels necessary for a decent and reliable release. Be patient people, you don't want to throw your hard earned money on a broken product, trust me. I read someone saying that people could lose interest in the "zombie thing" by June... seriously?! It's friggin 3 months we're talking about! Let the devs do their job so we can all be happy :) And it's not like there's no Dayz mod or Arma III to keep us busy until then.
