Luckily i try and 90% succeed in not getting into P v P situations i'm that bad i would miss most of my shots(i think) so i avoid it like the plague.

Go for it fella, i did and a 120 hours playtime later i haven't looked back, it's a game and experience like no other. it will install fear/excitement/paranoia/joy you will go through emotions and decision making that no other game has or will make you do. So i say jump in buy Arma II OA etc etc and come join the Insanity.

Did that last night (except the high bit)some guy broke his leg in cherno(not good) i was near Zelenogorsk(a long way away) told him i'm on my way and either find a safe place to hide or hospital for morphine until im there. now after a long long journey i get message from him saying he's might as well just kill himself. I said no i'm just past balota and will be with you shortly, and with that 30 seconds later he dies.

We all have hats as protection, it takes that little bit longer for a Zed to chew through to reach the fresh brains underneath, ok ok it's limited protection but it might help

Nice, that's one thing i haven't experienced yet, being kidnapped, i kinda want it too happen just to see what goes down, the other thing in my 100 hours of playtime i haven't done is killed anyone yet, i usually stay out in the wilderness surviving rather well, my humanity is in the plus (kinda want to keep it that way) but i know sooner or later i will have to kill someone,lets hope it's a bandit and not a survivor.

Funny enough as a noob(all be it a 44 year old noob)or should i say Newbie, those safe zones are the places i frequent/pass through alot, i do go into the cities every now and then for the odd supply but 90% i can gather from other places. Ps:i don't need a map ingame, i have a photographic memory(built in map) kinda handy really.

My last 2 heli crash sites i found, one contained an SVD camo and 1 mag, the second was a Bison SD with 2 mags both in fields that lead upto Novy Sabor. other than that never been lucky with heli crash sites.

As of yet i haven't killed a single person, so the guilt trip hasn't been experienced by me yet,not a feeling i want but i know it's coming. as for you OP don't feel guilty in that instance why? because he was stealing from you, direct chat he could have asked for something or a swap/trade.

I voted no, reason i've been a new spawn/bambi and been shot in the head several times, so i know what it's like, the frustration of spawning in only to die within 30 seconds, in some cases i bet it puts people off playing again. As for myself i haven't as yet in 100+ hours killed one single person, bandaged the odd person iv'e come across, 90% of my time is spent way out in the wilderness away from humanity in the furthest reaches of the map.

Thanks, sad thing is that was my home server and had been for a while was always a good place to be, sad that the Admin decided to be a dick.with a move like that. Oh! well plenty more servers out there.

What about a working T90 tank appearing in the server, i was in my favourite server and has been for a while there were a few in approx 7 people, when on the way to novy via a long route, i heard this voice(bandit) telling me to stop and drop weapon, i did then he took me into the road and told me to wait until a tank turned up(TANK!) then he ran as soon as it came i followed, turned out it was the Admin and a friend.By this time the room had emptied within 5 mins of this tank appearing. so i left and rejoined only to be confronted by the tank again and 2 players, Admin and friend they held me up so i asked about the tank they got all defensive, i wasn't taking it so i told them to just kill me get it over with, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to ban me from the server, i just replied cool so be it. i left unfavourited his server and left it at that. So is the Tank part of the Day Z mod or was this hacked/put in in by the admin, this was my top server to play on and i had covered every inch of the map, and had never seen a tank.

No you are never too old to play games, damn fella i'm 44 years old when i play on either my ps3 or 360 i'm 3 x the age of most squeakers, especially on the 360, i feel really old. Here on the PC it's not so bad. Hell iv'e played with someone on the PS3 BC2 he was 66 years old(i felt young), so Nope never too old just play enjoy have a blast

I enjoyed that, the bambi reminds me of well me on my first day playing , my first meet with someone i legged it kinda spooked me meeting someone(mainly because i wasn't too sure what would happen).

Me what do i do, well i stay away from Cherno and Elektro, i head straight out into the wilderness least explored places (once i have enough food/drink) with me and my trusty axe, on my journey i usually go zombie hunting to lighten things up, hoppers are the most fun run up behind axe to the head/body. Usually heading out into nowhere/wilderness reaps some good benefits, in one 5 hour stint i came across 3 heli crash sites, PP-19 SD/ SVD Camo and Night vision goggles all at seperate sites, SVD camo was fun picking off zeds from distance on way too NWAF(no loot), on way back i found the PP-19 SD was fun to use. so i would suggest exploring the most unexplored places you never know what you will find.

My first 3 or so spawns ended up like this 1] Spawn near Komarovo, bullet in the head from where god knows. 2] spawn near Elektro bad spawn, there were 4 players already patrolling the coast(i got unlucky)died a horrible death. 3] Komarovo/Balota area gunned down within 3 mins I didn't have much luck, This game has way too much to offer than just killing other players in the cities, for me it's the exploration surviving i deliberately go straight into the hills and as far away from civilisation as i can,

I'm new to this game, played for approx 40 or 50 hours, iv'e already learnt stay away from cherno and Elektro, well Elektro is not bad but bad enough, so as soon as i spawn i head inland Zelenogorsk etc etc ,or i go way up to the north coast to Berezino, there are plenty of towns/cities that do have supermarkets and other lootable places. Hell i spawned once got shot within 1 minute

I like the look and sound of this server will pay a visit.
