I kindof like that idea, have an outside area where you have to find a hazard suit before going into the city. Maybe find a Geiger Counter aswell.

Just because they are undead doesn't mean they cant run.

That has to do with the modified soldier AI used for the zombies and the pathing they have to take. Nothing can be done about it in the mod currently. This will be fixed in the Standalone. edit: If you really wanna get away from them, take them through a building. The current pathing forces them to walk inside.

no one ever said bandaging yourself was supposed to be easy. Find yourself a pinetree or lead the zombies through a barn while you can. it takes a good little bit to completely bleed out. you can loose zombies in that amount of time.

Serious answer. Deal with it, Spawn in. find your old body, simple. Dont like your spawn cause it isnt close to your body? Die again untill you get a close one. Your gear should still be there if you died by zombies., if it was a bandit, Say goodbye to your gear.

I say suck it up (No offense). These are Arma II controlls. Wait till the DayZ standalone, I'm sure Rocket and the team will have a better control scheme with polished mechanics to provide less clunkiness.

These are nameplates, Some Servers have these turned off. If you are using DayZ Commander it will tell you whether these are off or not.

I'd go all fallout and make a rebar club and a bumper sword!

my friends and I were on an Origins server, Had a firetruck loaded up with stuff. weapons, supplies. a fuckton of coke. tried crossing a railroad track, I didnt see the little black thing sticking up and ran straight into it at about 20 MPH and the entire fucking truck blew up. you have to launch Arma 2 and Op Arrowhead atleast once before launching DayZ, Then it will work just fine.
