My buddy Chimera and I have 3 Hueys, A littlebird, A Ural, An SUV, and a Dirtbike.

Story time! k, so this was my first time doing banditing type stuff. I was playing on an Origins server.with my buddy Chimera, we were in the town of Krasnozramansk in our vehicles, His a UAZ and mine some old rust bucket hatchback. (At night full moon), stopping by the industrial area for some parts. I hear a heli over head and tell my friend to get inside. Once inside we realize the heli landed by the mall so we went to take a look at it, at this moment we didnt have any hostile intentions. Once there we see them running around, we hid in the shadows and told them to call out, told them we were friendly.. Clearly they could see the chat, they started booking it. no replying at all. We naturally take that as hostile so, Chimera takes out one with his M16 w/ACOG and M203 while the other was off somewhere else. I see him running down the street and I pop him with my SA-58P w/ACOG. we loot their bodies and damage the shit out of their heli's and we're off down to Seven, A spawn point for Origins. We get there and step into the supermarket to grab some supplies, Chimera hears his UAZ start up. we look outside, There's those guys again. I go out back and one of them is trying to flank us. I take him out quickly. The UAZ drives off. We'll we weren't having that. We got in my old rust bucket (Oddly enough is faster than the UAZ) and we catch up to him. (Forgot to mention we were also both bleeding from zombies.) "Ram him!" Chimera says, and so im catching up to do so. The UAZ thief drives off road, I do the same. After I turn around, Chimera says over Direct "You are going todie for taking our shit!" I decide "Screw this" I get out, Chimera orders me to shoot the UAZ. So I do, Putting about half a mag into it from about 50-60 meters or more. He's hurt, He slams the UAZ into the wall on accident, it blows up and he is down on the ground, bleeding, in pain, legs broken. I aim in, pop him in the head, He is done. We lost our UAZ and the stuff in it, A M4A1 CCO,a bunch of Stanags and supplies. But hey, If we cant have our stuff, no one can. We encountered them again, but they escaped and logged. Too bad :P

Chimera's side is more descriptive, I'm sick so I didnt feel like typing in full detail like he did :P

So. I dont see much art done and posted on here. so I figured I'd start and art thread (And not drawing dicks on a map) I dont know about how people on here feel about Anthropomorphic art, but I'll throw this up and give it a shot. Heres a pic I did about a week ago for my friend who I play DayZ with and I. My character is on the left, his. on the right (He is a Chimera, dont see many of those huh?) I like to keep mine more true to DayZ with an M14 Aimpoint. His weapon is more of his own creation, but hey, Its a Drawing. Though i wouldnt mind having models to look like our characters, but I would rather keep it to humans, so remember. It's only a drawing :P

Thats a bold move mentioning you are from CoD, but you seem to have the mentality towards it that I do. when I'm playing with my group and we find a Bicycle. my friend always plays this song on the mic and one of us gets on it and rides it around like a dumbass lmao

I think the zombies are fine as they are, But, Their new pathfinding and ability to run inside will make them more threatening, Thats all that needs to be changed. now if you REALLY wanted threatening have them go CoD zombies on your ass and kill you in two hits. Yeah I went there.

only for 2 or 3 shots. this was... unwillingly tested on me when a friend shot me with his glock to test it out. he thought i was invulnerable completely and all the sudden he just opens up near automatic speed and kills me lmao.

Either that or have a trusted friend do the repairs. This happens to my group and I alot. we tend to find multiple of the same parts before repairing just incase it doesnt work when one of us does the repairs. Usually one of us will be able to get it done, Same with fueling.

The mind and its ability to trick you has always fascinated me. Maybe if you are in the dark too long you could start to hear things. maybe if you're hurt and very low on blood, or if your starving/thirsting to death you'll see hallucinations, hear zombies (but have an effect to where you know its a hallucination) hear someone say "I'm here, it's ok" This is an apocalypse and we all know that it would take its toll on someone. Fearing for your life every second, doing your damnedest to keep moving forward. It would come at a price somewhere down the line. Maybe bandits could hear voices, very subtly but they would be there. just suggestions! P.S. I could go further and say Heroes could hear angel choirs but that would be stupid as hell :P

I say do it, DayZ is super fun to me. I was told to wait till standalone but I couldnt. Bought Combined Ops, downloaded DayZ, Loved it. and I cant wait for the Standalone.
