same here. it seems to have gotten worse withe the latest patch. last week there was a lot of lag spikes but between them the gameplay was ferely smooth. yesterday it felt like i was playing a fast slideshow, and the more i stay on the server the worse it gets. lowering graphics doesn't do anything. they did something...something evil...:P

i've seen a few players just standing in spots lately, but i cannot loot or shoot them...it's kind of freaky because they stand there with their gun pointed like they are about to shoot me. i'm assuming they have logged off and the game is just glitched. am i right?

i get the odd time that it just freezes at the black screen. sometimes it's just a LONG pause other times i have to just shut down the window and restart on a different server. however, eventually i'm usually able to eventually get in. not much help i know....

i get the same constant lag spikes. i have a 3.16 GHz dual core with 6GB RAM and runnig a GTX460 overclocked. i have no problem running the Arma 2 game even on high settings but wehn i get into Dayz i start getting crazy, constant lag spikes that sometimes last a whole 2 seconds. turning down graphics settings does make the game run a bit faster but doesn't do anything for the lag spikes. the funny part is i get the lag spikes even if i stand completely still in game and don't move the camera at all....:S it's just the mod. it is Alpha after all.....

same prob here mate, except that i get it every like 10 seconds, and sometimes it lasts like whole 1 or 2 seconds. very annoying. it's like super lag or something. it's pretty horrible to say the least. no idea how to fix....

it's been years since i've enjoyed a mod...heck even a game quite like this. yes, it's still buggy as hell, yes it's quite sub par graphically, yes it's a bitch to install and get running but this mod has some serious soul. whom ever made this mod... THANK YOU. you have nailed this one the head man. a friken zombie multiplayer game that's actually effing skarry and challenging as hell ...+ i get to share it with friends!! this is definately a gem of a game, and imo one of the officially best "horror/survival genre multiplayer games" i've come accross yet. keep up the good work man, and hopefully this turns into a full fledge mod or even (gasp) a full on game of it's own. PS: suddenly...Fallout3 just became vanilla ice cream :D

title says it all. i'm using 6 Launcher to launch the game. i get all the way to the brown server selection screen, i join game, i select a spot, i press ok, the loading screen with the tanks shows up and the i get this error message: no entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeappons' if i press "OK" it brings me back to the brown server seleciont screen. ....wtf do i do?

ok so i restarted Steam as admin and now i no longer get the error message but it automatically crashes back to the brown server selectino screen every single time i get to the tanks screen. i also get a red "Battleye initialization failed" message at the bottom left corner when i'm at the multiplayer setup screen....not sure what that is all about. it always crashes when the "receiving data" bar is about 80%.

black screen with a partial laoding bar?....yup. been trying since yesterday and if i dont get kicked immediately from almost every server i get the black screen of death....disappointing since i've bought the Arma 2 just to play Dayz and i've yet to be able to actually join a game.

i've been trying to launch in for the first time today. been at it for 5 hours....i either get stuck with a black screen and half a loading bar, or it just crashes me back to the servers list....wtf...

so i bought the Arma CO from steam. downlaoded and installed. i've also launched both games. i downloaded 6 launch and used it to connect to servers. i get all the way to the screen where you have to click on a spot in the middle column for your name to go yellow and then press "ok", but then the loading bar only gets to about 80% and then i'm broght back to the server selection screen... how do i get this to work?
