Reasons why you should play on our server: Fair and honest adminsNo admin/staff abuse. Stuff is not able to spawn items, and will not have an unfair advantage over other players. We are survivors too, who just want to play the game.No Loadouts for sell. Sometimes you can earn a free gun via promotions and contests, but no one can pay to win on our server. We are wanting this server to be a fun survival server for survival enthusiasts. We want our server to be about surviving and less about just PVP as most servers are. We will never sell guns or ammo. If anyone ever donates they may get a sack of food or medical supplies as thanks. Some features of our server: 4.5 hours of daytime, and 1.5 hours of night time. Server restarts every 6 hours. When it restarts it'll be day time again.Zombie-free cities/camps. We want the game to be more realistic. These cities and camps have walls around them. So, its as if they were cleared out by survivors. No random magical zombies can spawn within them.Vehicle towing and heli lifting. Have multiple cars? Fine tow them together. Also if you have a heli you can pick up vehicles off the ground.Salvage Vehicle Parts: Remove parts from vehicles to fix other vehiclesSelf Blood Bag: You can now blood bag yourself!AI Missions: Go on AI missions against AI bandits, to get good gear and humanity.AI Guarded static bases (air fields) with lots of lootRemove clothing: Kill someone who has a ghillie or camo clothing? We moved to a new datacenter. Which means, yet another IP. Which i updated in the above posts. Hopefully this change will fix that lag. Also been doing many tweaks to the server and website. Some updates for this weekend. Zombies have been decreased. Still plenty of them to annoy you, but not impossible to get away from them now. have increased loot. Have also made it 24 hour day for this weekend. Lets play :D -

Some updates, New IP. 192.31.185.211:3323 Fixed the AI missions as well, so the ammo crates no longer despawn. Come play with us. Zero admin or staff abuse :D -
Same. As soon as SA was released i deleted the mod. Didn't see the point. But now after a month or so, the SA is really simple and boring. Seems more polished and areas, but due to its early alpha state, there just isnt much to do at the moment. First thing i noticed after going back to the mod is all the bullshit zombies lol annoying hell outta me. Can't wait for the SA to get more content, and possibly vehicles :P I can see the mod still being popular for at least another year til the alpha changes to beta or something.

Currency is loot and inventory. Trade :D No need for a real type of money. There is no government or anything silly like that. So if you want something, trade for it. It's like living in prison. pack of smokes for 5 sodas.

So I played solely 1st Person Servers the whole day today and my thoughts are

once they add vehicles you'll also realize you cant look around as good as you could in real life. for example in helis you cant look down off the to side as you could in real life.. same with vehicles and such. If they could make the view more realistic, i'd be fine with it. -
Rewarding players for actually staying alive and surviving.

They've made ALOT of money off DayZ so far. So it'd be silly of them in the future to not put a majority of that money back into the game and develop a proper engine for DayZ 2 or something. Rocket wants realism. We want realism, so the goal is to provide a realistic real life experience. So one could assume all these will eventually be added to the game. Could take many many years, but im sure its the goal. -

There's been some talk of private hives. The truth is, we need them. Alot of clans want their own servers with their own hives, and specialized settings for their communities. but unlike the mod, there should be some guidelines/regulations/rules, etc that server owner/admins must follow in order to be licensed the server software. The Licenses should be free, and only certain hosts who agree to the rules themselves should be allowed to host servers. One of the main rules in order to be granted a licenses is you must agree TO NOT SELL LOADOUTS or any IN GAME ITEMS for actual cash. This is one of the biggest negatives about the mod that greedy server admins did. It ruins the game, and its not very honest of the server admin to do so. They're pretty much making illegal cash off of stuff other peoples work. DayZ was never intended to be played like that. Break the rule? Lose the license, and your server is suspended. This one community i was in for a short time did this, and made alot of money off of it. $50 for a gun loadout? Dean and his team never got a dime from that, and besides like i said, the game was never intended to be that way. If the admins do this in order to "pay for the server", then they shouldn't have a server they can't afford to begin with. Proper communities will always donate enough money for their server. I've been in several clans that do this with various games, and it's never a problem. Such guidelines will help make sure Dayz stays clean, honest, and it'll also put less demand on the official servers. Any ideas on this? and other guidelines? -

You need plenty of Zombies to interact with in order to know what to improve. Maybe you forgot that you're participating in a live alpha, and dont understand the process around it. Alot of you kids seem to. Simple: you're playing it to fix it. -

From all the DashCam videos posted online from russia, i don't think they very often stop on their own :P -
the point and goal of DayZ is to be as realistic as possibly. Artificially creating a safezone where you magically cannot be hurt isnt realistic.

Point of alpha is to spot these and fix them before final. Nothing to get hurt about. Proper Anti Cheat isn't even implemented yet. It'll be okay.
