There was a thread I seen yesterday, were it was by 4chan user and it showed up the settings on Nvidia's control panel so we can get the best performance. Can someone send me the link to that such thread, It would be greatly appreciated :)

I agree, the zed's are just too insane, with no weapons and all that, it can be pretty hard for a new player, just starting out. In my review of this update the majority of the time was fighting of zombies who knew exactly were I was even if I moved to a different room in the house. I'm a Dragonball Z fan, and there was this DBZ mod that would constantly get updated. What they did was just say that 1.X.X.X was the most stable build and that 1.7.X.X was the most recent. It worked well for that, so I think it work well on this. Here my review if you want to see these super saiyan zeds (See what I did there:cool:)

So I kinda annoyed atm. I'm getting decieved by this six launcher. I think it is trolling me :@ It says that the server has 48/50 players ingame. I select it and bam, player limit has been reached. Go back refresh the list still 48/50... Damn troll program :dodgy:

That would be appreciated if they would :) Though I want people to see the latest update changes easily. Most people usually come to this section first.

So far I have heard two great things about this new update! 1. Melee weapons. This is going to allow us to play in a completely different way now. I can see many players rather than shooting players, instead cutting them down along with zombies. Also no more wasting ammo killing a cow :angel: 2. Performance increase. We were promised this in the last two updates, but were unfortunately not working correctly. Rocket said that he has found the problem and I for one will be so delighted to see a performance increase :D my recording won't be as laggy. :heart: Anyway, what are you super excited about to see in this update.

He said it somewhere else in the thread. That's why mods are currently locking or deleting threads that have been created asking about these said FPS issues :) Don't worry I have faith that the problem will be resolved in this update ;)

I have no idea xD, I guess it will come out then. Can't wait to do a review on it.

Okay so been on the forum coming on a week and i get really annoyed by the attitude from hardcore dayz players. Really, if someone doesn't like an update, don't just come to the assumption "hurp durp he must suck at this game, cause he obviously plays CoD... hurp derp" No you make yourselves look like dickheads nuff said. 1.7.1 update came out and basically some people find it too hard. Does it mean that all they play is CoD? Of course not so get the fucking idea out of your heads, stuck up forum brats. They think it is too hard and then when they come on you tell them to get off and go somewhere else. I think the game shouldn't be all harcore personally. Because then ROCKET would only sell the game to about 10-20% of the DayZ players. General gamers want to play a game that they find fun. If the update ruined that they should have the right to express their opinion without forum elitests ( you know who you are, the dickheads) slagging them off. And all I say is Let the hate toward me begin :heart:

Thank you for the introduction of melee weapons. This gives bandits the ability to sneak up behind someone and kill without attracting anyone other bandits or zeds. Or at least thats what bandits will like about it. personally I'm going to use it to kill cows instead of wasting a bullet on them :D

They looked like they belonged to a person of at least 70 years of age. He rubbed his hands together trying to warm them up, it was cold when most of the heating was off, especially in mid winter. The prices for oil were out of control and many uncluding Joeseph had resorted to putting the heating on, when it got too cold. Eventually he looked up, resignation in his eyes. "This infection has been going on for a total of 6 months so far both the worlds best scientists and the military have failed to prevent its spread. It's only a matter of time before it reaches us. Whether it be a in two months or two weeks." Joeseph explained. "By that time I want both your family and my family to move up into the mountains. It will be the safest place, I for one, DON'T want to be chased by those things." Karl walked into the kitchen and put the kettle on. "You're being silly Joeseph. The military and the scientists haven't stopped it because they were caught off guard. This will be over before you know it." Karl said with no trace of doubt. Joeseph picked up the TV remote and changed the channel until he found something that interested him. "Do you not have family up in the north west? Have you heard their views?" Joeseph questioned. Karl poured the hot water that had been boiling, into the mugs. "Fuck Joeseph. Were are the god damned tea bags?" Karl shouted. For a minute Joeseph didn't answer. After a his senses had returned to him he shouted for Karl. "Karl come in here NOW!" Joeseph gasped. "They have predicted that the infection will be here is less than one week, it's fucking airborne!" END OF CHAPTER ONE

Hello guys so I have been at work making this simple update downloader. This current version of the program allows the user to download version 1.6.0.1, 1.7.0, 1.7.1, 1.7.1.1 The zip file includes the installer of the program. The downloaded file will be located in C:\DayZupdatedownloader The file is not a virus and is genuine. I did this so that those who hates the latest updates can revert back to a semi-stable one.
