    What I don't understand is how people die to combat d/c'ers. If an enemy d/c's just move to another location and wait there. I don't know why some people stay in the same spot then wonder how they get killed <_<

    Software like game booster will not give you a better performance. The processor, is semi-decent for a game engine like arma 2's, it is kind of outdated and therefore you will see fps problems. Even with my i7 950 @ 3.4GHz i still get low fps, i.e 25fps in cherno. My best bet is to either wait for the mod to be cleaned up so we get better fps, or to finally upgrade your cpu. Or if you don't have the money, try overlocking your current cpu :)

    There has never been a real apocalypse... but in a lot of post apocolyptic movies and games there are safe zones. Here are a few examples, Metro 2033, The walking dead, dead island, Fallout 3, Day after tomorrow. These are all examples, although they do not all contain zombies, they are still within the apocalypse genre.

    GTFO... hate forum elitists like yourself. On a serious note, I like the idea of a safe zone (you probably got it from The War Z right?) as it would allow the community to come together and interact, though I feel that with the limitations of the Arma engine, this may not be possible and if it is, it will be extremely bugged and hackers would have a party in such areas. Rocket may also see it as less realistic. The safe zone for The War Z was the one that got me more interest, as it would allow me to play a zombie survial mmo, but still interact with a vast amount of people.

    Because we need a lot of weapons, to fight against the op'ed zombies, that both run faster than you and are stronger :) Also don't forget we need weapons now more than ever since stealth for some, is basically non-existent.

    Wow, just reading this whole thread, thus far, I have to say, these admins, don't know what argument to use against this guy. First it was because the OP combat d/c'ed, which in itself can't result in a ban, then the next thing the OP was banned due to being a hacker. Servers like these should be blacklisted ¬_¬

    You will probably see better performance when the mod goes into beta, that's when all the code clean up usually begins. Alpha (current state of the mod) is where new things are added.

    It's because you are playing an unoptimised mod, on an unoptimised game engine :)

    Alpha is for testing purpose, we are testers, once this goes standalone we will not be testers anymore. Therefore, to my own knowledge we will have to buy the standalone game :) hopefully I answered that without being a dickhead :beans:

    Yea it is getting beyond a joke.... even if you shoot in the general direction of another player, they freak out and Alt+F4 >:(

    Hello, would just like to inform you that all of our clan's tents have disappear along with all our vehicles. We had about 15 tents and 6 vehicles which have all magically vanished. Is there a problem?

    BI hasn't actually spoken about the optimisation of the game, though we will hopefully see a large improvement. (Don't want to buy another top end cpu to get good FPS)

    Well we cant say much.. zombies run at speeds of what 27km/h (they could catch up with my truck off road xD) so them hitting us once and breaking our legs, seems legit ¬_¬
