This just happened to us. We took their pilot down while they landed in Elektro, few seconds later they kicked us. I hope Rocket closes this server, it is a huge server admin ABUSE.

Hopefully he gets banned for this.

Uploaded a video right now that I have downloaded from his Streaming channel. It's not the debug plains, he was at the NW Airfield with no trees or anything, it is an exploit which has been there for a while, but luckily not many people know how to do it. That blows man. Luckily I still haven't encountered a cheater yet, I've been alive for a good while, currently have an M4A3 CCO, M16A2 ACOG, lots of Stanag, alice backpack, GPS, NV Goggles, binos, a UAZ Jeep... Literally everything I need. If I ever died to a hacker, I would get so pissed I'd probably quit the game for a while, sorry to hear about your loss.

This version of DayZ is completely broken, I'm not playing it again until it's fixed. Logged into a server with clan mates and the server killed me and spawned me into Wilderness but no gear at all, so I suicided and spawned properly, meanwhile my clan mate took my M4A1 CCO SD with 5x Stanag SD mags from me (My character was still there standing up, but dead) so I could take them back later. After running for about 45 minutes into my clan mates, my friend dropped the M4A1 CCO SD and the server took it away, it dissapeared completely, this made me quite mad... Then, after raging and hitting my head against the wall a hundred times, I spawned again, reached my friends, we killed a survivor and I took his AS50 sniper with 6x mags, later on I log off for dinner, we come back and the server (A different one than before) killed me again!!! To be honest I don't give a damn about the AS50 I lost, but losing the M4A1 CCO SD made me VERY sad specially after my friend kept it for me, then it dissapeared, this is ridiculous. I know it's an Alpha, and it has bugs, but this had never happened to me before 1.7.2, and today it's happened twice already, and losing the M4A1 CCO SD almost made me cry. :(

Good thing, hope that improves the major performance drops in-game. Even with my CPU overclocked to 5GHz and a pair of GTX680 in SLI, I still get drops to the 30s after a few minutes of playing, it is quite annoying.

Rocket, I'll describe you in one word, beast. Thank you for all this constant updating you're doing on DayZ, no other developer would ever do that, we do appreciate your support to the players.

All I did was what I posted few posts above and it works great, friend did the same too, and also works fine. No need to do any .cmd file or use the updater.

This is what I did to properly install the latest 93825 beta patch: 1. Download the 93825 .zip file, unzip it and run the installer; http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php 2. Copy the files (not the folder, but the files inside) from the following two folders: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\dta and D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\dll Copy the files inside those two folders into the root Arma II OA Folder, in my case: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead 3. Then go to: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta And copy the "arma2oa.exe" into the root folder of Arma II OA: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead It will ask you if you want to replace the file as it has the same folder, say yes. 4. Then go into Steam; Arma II OA Properties; Set Launch options and copy the following into the box: -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;CA;@DayZ You should now have the 93825 beta with no errors and it should work fine via Steam, this is the launch options flag I have: -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;CA;@DayZ -nosplash -world=empty Added the "-nosplash" and "-world=empty" to make the initial game loading time faster. That is how you should do it, the instructions on first page are quite misleading and I could not get it to work like that. ;) Hope it helps others as well. :rolleyes:

Shows 1.60.87580 to me as well and I can enter any server.

Confirmed, it works fine by just copying those files from those 2 folders I mentioned and doing nothing else, no need to copy or replace any .exe file. :rolleyes:

I didn't say that, I was asking if that was the correct version or the original, because I wasn't sure. But I was able to log into a server which says to require beta patch so I guess I did it fine.

Well after seeing an official post from a Bohemia employee, I'd rather follow his advice, and he says to copy those files from those two folders into the root folder, you don't need to change anything in the shortcut or change the original .exe. :p

Interesting, this worked. Copied the content from "\beta\dll\" and "\beta\expansion\dta\" into the root folder (D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) and I no longer need to set any launch options, the game works. Also, the game claims I have Version 1.60.87580, is that a beta version? I downloaded "ARMA2_OA_Build_93701".

Because installing the Beta Patches is as simple as double clicking the executable and it will install automatically in your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead / Expansion / Beta folder. After that, you just have to follow the Step 1, isn't that just stupidly easy? :D
