My friend was fighting a couple off with a fireaxe and I watched 3 more of them spawn around him. But I like that they are more of a threat.

After killing a 4 man squad with a blaze rifle, I was instantly dropped by somebody else at an unknown location. Two of the members from the squad happen to get lucky spawns close to their bodies, so when I arrived back as a fresh spawn they had all their gear back. They recognized my voice knowing that I was the one who took them all out (I may have mocked them about how they can't handle themselves against players who aren't unarmed during the battle...). So I stood behind a tree, telling them how powerful they must feel killing unarmed spawns, and as they told me how I was going to die again while approaching from both sides of my tree, I rushed through them.... It was at that moment where one of them missed me with their shotgun and took out their partner. I was laughing too hard to play, and as I was laughing my arse off I ran to go Mike Tyson the remaining guy and as I was taking him out, the one who just got dropped by the shotgun had gotten up and shot me from behind. I think these guys are up there with the "worst players of all time".

Sometimes people hide the body and it doesn't actually get hidden, you can see it but not loot it. (I've accidentally hid a few bodies...)

What if, in some way, the game tracks server lists and cross references them with your steam friend's list? If someone joins three servers in 10 minutes with no other friends on, obviously there's some hopping going on, and that person can be given a decently (but realistic) wait time before switching servers again. However, I change servers frequently when joining up with different friends, that is the reason for the cross referencing with a friends list. Obviously not perfect, maybe there is a group of server hoppers. But it could reduce the amount.

I want to say that I can't join them either. Almost 90% sure it's "ATL" but could be other "A__" servers.

Third person is third person. That is how it is, "exploitable" or not. First person servers are there for a reason. This is my personal opinion only. If this feature ever does get introduced, I would definitely stop playing third person servers all together and stick to first person servers.

I had an SKS, snuck up on some bandits robbing my friend, was about 30m behind em. Aimed at center mass, all my shots hit in random places where I was not aiming...

The timer doesn't stop server hopping. It does, however, stop the "clone-your-body" duplication glitch.

I find that my sawed off shotgun disappears from my inventory every now and then. Completely random I think. Nothing else is gone when I log in except for my shotgun. (I usually carry a Primary, a pistol and a shotgun at all times)

I was at North West airfield, there was a guy in a hanger. Another person and I approached, he only saw me. I had my mosin. I told him to put his weapon away because I was friendly but I didn't trust him. He decided to act cocky claiming that he "had an M4 while only had a mosin, If I tried something I'd be dead". So, the other player I was with peeked around the corner, and as he looked away and starting spraying with the M4 I knocked him unconscious with the Mosin. I proceeded to unload his M4 and his pistol, revive him and let him on his way. He logged out instantly after I gave him his weapons back.

Unarmed Basically, once you spend DAYS, not hours, DAYS scrounging for parts, providing another crew hasn't killed you and stolen the parts, or fixed the helicopter up themselves, then you will get into the helicopter and takeoff only to discover that you have no idea what (x) amount of controls do and all your hard work goes in to the side of a mountain if you don't have a pilot in the group who knows what he (or she) is doing. When I fly helicopters in the mod, I barely pay attention, I fly with one hand and text with the other. But in Standalone, you should have to be concentrating 100% on flying to not crash.

If you hide it, it should have loose looking ground above it and you should be able to dig it up.

I wouldn't mind events, such as crashed helicopters every now and then, not too often. Much like the mod, but more realistic, less often, and harder to spot.

I've had about.... 5 or 6. Just go to airfields often. I usually circle the map hitting up every military base, or kill somebody who has one. Yesterday I killed somebody who had one, went to take it only to see the dreaded "ruined" displaying. Or sneak up behind sniper hill at Elektro, people just sit in trees looking through their server hopped LRS and don't watch behind too much.

How are you getting 40fps in city and 60 elsewhere? I have an AMD FX-8350, dual HD 7950s with 16gigs of ram, and I get anywhere from 15-30 in cities, with anywhere from 20-60 elsewhere. (120+ looking straight into sky xD

So today, two of my friends and I were running down from the north when we came across one person. We circled him, had our guns pointed at him, and I went in to handcuff. The guy sounded pretty confident, he said "I have no guns, I just have one request..." and at that very moment, my two friends and I all had our DayZ crash on us. Not disconnect, crash. We came back on to the server pretty quick, my one friend spawned and got shot instantly with his own gun, my other friend was in the middle of nowhere with his gear, and I was about 200ft behind with absolutely nothing on my body, but still "healthy" "energized" and "hydrated". I instantly logged out, then came back, then had all my stuff again, but my one friend was killed. Is this a hack? Everybody was still on server to my knowledge, at least it was still full when I restarted DayZ, so I'm assuming only us three got crashed..

I haven't either, most I've seen is hacks that lag you out. We all live in the same city, but approximately 20 minutes apart. There was no disconnection whatsoever, internet worked fine, DayZ had no connection errors at all. I've played a ton of DayZ, and this has never happened ever before to me.
