Remove Zombies until they're fixed.

They are absolutely ridiculous in their current stage. There's nothing worse then being shot at while 3 zombies are forever stuck in an already aggrod spawn cycle behind you, hitting you through walls. I would rather have 50 zombies that are "realistic" (I use this term very loosely) where you can sneak past them, rather than have 3 zombies forever spawning around you that suddenly charge at you through walls no matter the circumstance as long as you are within range. With that being said, in order to get from stage A to stage Z there needs to be those 24 other letter stages, as broken or uncomfortable as they are. -
Water hates people. I've lost my weapon and my backpack countless times, but always near the shore where it's possible to crouch in thew water and reach, but extremely difficult. Ponds, the ocean, any water body hates me.

I'll buy this other game when it comes out, same as how I bought rust, WarZ (Infestation: Survivor Stories) or any other game that looks good or half decent, but will always continue playing DayZ. -

Thanks admin, was wondering where my topic went. I did a search on Long Range Scopes though. But darn, you beat me on the scope number. All of my scopes were found together though at the airfield, did you find them spread out? Or on different servers? I think I'm going to run down the coast giving them to spawns... My friend and I had 2 anti-stab vests that we were going to give away, until a clan of snipers camping the coast sniped us...(we got revenge kind of though) -

So, I took a run up to the North West Airfield with a friend, he gave me a Long Range Scope that he had found somewhere, then I found another in a tent, and another in a hanger whilst he found one in a tent and one on top of the Air Control Tower. 2 Pristine, 2 Badly Damaged, 1 worn. (not that it makes a difference) Best loot run yet? Not to mention the decked out FNX45, all the parts were found on the same airfield, on the same server. -
I did a quick search of "Spawn location" and did not see any similar results, so on to the topic. I think that the entire spawning system should be re-worked. Instead of starting off on the coasts, you should just wake up from being unconscious at any point on the map. Dead center, east coast, North hill, in a forest, anywhere. Adds to immersion - You wake up, you loot supplies, you're immersed. You aren't appearing somewhere you've been countless times.Changes "KoS" play style - Face it, it's no fun when a group of people hang around the coast killing fresh spawns because they can.Forces map exploration - Self explanatory.For the "RPers", there's some mystery - "What was I doing up on this hill, and how did I get hurt?"(add more?)Maybe there could even be randomized statuses, not always just hungry. Maybe on one spawn you could be in a camping tent (when added) completely healthy, just taking a nap in the forest. For another, you could be a bit low on blood and thirsty on the side of a road. Make it so that you have just taken control of a person who has been surviving on their own. On that note, however, I'd never like to see spawns with equipment (besides basics - flashlight, maybe some rags). It may not be perfect, maybe you guys and gals will not like this, but it is quite repetitive spawning in the exact same spots all the time, only to run in to people who camp the hillside killing or 'playing with' fresh spawns.

The way I see it, a glitch is something in the game. If people aren't supposed to exploit it, then the devs should fix the glitch. All glitches are fair game until fixed. Obviously not a fair way to play, and I try to stay away from that, but it's in the game, and therefore, should not be treated as if it were a hack. -
So you can't wear a helmet with a gas mask, but you can wear a cowboy hat while the gas mask glitches right through the top... Yes, I'd totally shoot you for the LRS, unless I already had one, then I'd possibly leave you alone depending on the situation. Last guy with a sniper whom I let go went and got his friends and came to try and kill me. 2/3 of them died, then the server restarted... I did steal his scope though.

I would like to see more random, unique houses or shacks in the middle of nowhere. Maybe at one spot in a forest with an overgrown road leading from it could have been an old war-vet and avid gun collector's hunting shack (chances for some good loot?), with different, random locations of said shack on every server.

Found an anti-stab vest, but never a press vest. The only times I've ever seen press vests are on another player's body after I've ruined it.

This. For bigger buildings, we have different call outs. Using the construction building, for example; Open stairs, closed stairs, (#) floor. - "I'm moving up open stairs, 2nd floor." Also, know your compass directions. "East side police station" is faster than "beside the police station on the side that is on the right of the side door." -

No, I completely understand the server hopping concept, but with your public hive comment, there are a lot of servers with just a low to zero population, so might as well put them to some use rather than pay ($?) a month to play alone on a server by yourself. -

Fair enough. I get shot through walls quite a bit though. To others, if you are moving, sometimes your body keeps running after you stop and is visible through walls. I've witnessed some strange deaths though, my buddy once fell off the crashed boat in the NE and lived, then after fully healing, walked off a 3ft high ledge and instantly died. -

Some people enjoy testing weapons on zombies without the worry of a gunfight, and when zombies become more of a threat, more realistic and have increased numbers, a lot of people would just like to gear up alone and legitimately survive against zombies. (I think) -

Maybe a really good sniper timed his shot with the zombie hit. From a certain distance, you can't hear the shot. Sounds are glitched too though, so maybe he was really close. -
Let me be "that guy" here by saying this... It's alpha. You're calling the game glitchy, then saying that adding content will fix it. People don't seem to realize that the base game needs a massive improvement, and I see way too many people wanting more and more features; New guns, vehicles, crafting, hunting, etc. There is no point in concentrating on adding more and more into a game where people are still running through walls (on others' screen), where zombies are defying physics, and the servers are crowded with hackers.[1] Before worrying about new content, the base glitches need to be worked out. Why? "It's alpha." [1]People claim, "I have ___ hours on DayZ and have never seen a hacker, hackers aren't a problem, its alpha, lag or desync, deal with it." Well, I have only 200 hours but have experienced enough hackers to see the problem, as well as many other players have.

I usually write the most absurd notes you can think of. I usually hope for people to read it and just think, "What the actual f*** goes through this person's head?" Or I'll leave the Ezekiel 25:17 verse from Pulp Fiction. My friend and I are wanting to load up a full backpack full of notes, and leave a rather long story for the person who kills us.

Fully geared is when you are at the point in your DayZ life in which raiding an airfield would be utterly pointless. The point when, if need be, you had to kill somebody but don't bother checking his gear for you have everything you can possibly want or need. The point where, no matter what you do, everything bears greater risks than any reward.

I'm 100% for increasing the zombie threat, but nothing should be done to them until collisions are fixed. They shouldn't be able to run at you through walls.
