I would love to see you teleport around the map hatcheting the faces off of hackers, buuuuutttttttttt one innocent death and I'd hope DayZ drops down the banhammer. It's sad, because for $10 a month you can take the easy way out. I spend more than that in a month on random crap like chocolate bars.

To me personally, I feel like your version of realistic movement compared to how DayZ has it is one of those issues where there's a point where realism ruins enjoyment. This I agree with. The travelling treasure chests out there should not be able to keep up with a naked guy.

With the amount of de-sync and teleporting hackers in this game, most people don't actually deserve that death.

The SKS is a terrible weapon. It's accuracy is terribly inconsistent, and the damage is okay at best. I once got ambushed in the middle of nowhere, some guys pop out of the trees, BANG BANG! "Shit, I'm dead" as I thought, running away through the trees. BANG BANG BANG BANG! Four shots in to my arms, back and legs later I realize, "Oh wait, It's just an SKS," so I turned around with my mosin and ended their lives.

Third person is not a problem. There are 2 different modes for a reason. As stated countless times, if you don't like the "exploit", play hardcore. I'm seeing posts as "the solution is to remove 3pp", well that's not even a solution by far. As you can see by looking through server lists, the majority of the people who play like playing in 3pp, if you don't, then don't do it, play hardcore - simple solution. Now, I don't understand why that "isn't a solution" when the people who complain about it are wanting it removed anyway (obviously playing hardcore will stop people exploiting you), however, with enough people posting and complaining about the current 3pp situation rises enough interests from the devs, they should do an "alternate 3pp" in a 3rd game mode - Regular, Hardcore and regular-hardcore. Not quoting anyone here because I really just skimmed the comments, but I feel that the people who have a problem with 3pp aren't really putting up a valid argument in with solutions such as removing it completely. It's been stated, just play hardcore. What people do on regular isn't really a concern to someone who plays hardcore. As somebody already stated - it isn't a concern to them really since they just stick to hardcore. I like 3pp, I like hardcore. I like seeing my player looking like a survivor, I like fair battles. I'm not biased towards 3pp, nor am I biased towards hardcore. There are two game modes for a reason, and as somebody stated before me, make the "3pp fix" a third mode.

No. This can not be done in an any way realistic form. If I were sleeping in a zombie apocalypse, I would be able to hear the banging when somebody is breaking in to my base to steal my stuff and kill me and be able to wake up and attempt to defend myself, but when I'm logged off of a game at work, how can I come on to defend my body?

For me the "Please Wait" is either a few seconds or endless. If it goes over a few seconds I hit escape and rejoin the server, but sometimes my body is still there from the first "Please Wait" screen, and I get to watch the feller as he does his sit-down motions and disappears.

It's a long bolt getting jammed through your body parts at 300 odd fps... Would you rather a bullet go clean through you or a bolt piercing through your body which you have to pull out? The crossbow should be better than it is.

Yeah, game is flooded with hackers. Started on hardcore, died from a hacker. Re spawned, got some gear, then another hacker comes teleporting around me spraying infinite M4 shots at me, died again. Switched to the DayZ mod, went inside a tent because I heard a heli coming at me, thing flys over and machine guns me straight through the non-transparent roof instantly. Switch back to Standalone to find now that everybody (their mom and dog too) runs around with hacked/glitched ammo.

I use crossfire 7950s with the Arma2OA profile - same issue. However, when you go from FXAA to SMAA I find it removes the issue and looks purdier, so depending on your card you may get an FPS loss. It doesn't bother me all too much though to be honest.

Every single person I've killed today had hacked ammo. It's quite ridiculous already.

Too much hackers on Standalone so I switch to the mod and what do you know? MORE HACKERS.

The thing is, there is such a lack of trust in this game. I trust nobody, and nobody trusts me. I'm personally a very honest person, true to my word, so when I tell somebody that if they were to just put their weapon away and I won't shoot, I actually mean it. However, nobody else knows that, and nobody trusts that I will stay true to my word (nobody else stays true to theirs that I find on DayZ). When I sneak up on somebody and tell them something along the lines of "Hey drop your weapon and I won't shoot, I'm not interested in robbing you, I just don't trust that you won't try and shoot me" they instantly try to find out where I am, and aim their guns on places they think I am coming and tell me to show myself with no weapon. Basically, most conversations go with - "Just drop it, if I wanted you dead I'd have shot you before you even knew I was here" "No you come out with your gun down" Then at that point, I either just shoot em or sneak away while they are trying to shoot me. Usually if I don't shoot them they try and hunt me down, so shooting it is.

I like playing 3pp on DayZ. Not to exploit, but I just like to see myself when I'm wandering around. I feel more survivory. But in combat, first person is nicer because it is fair (Well a bit more fair - you can still look through walls in 1pp).

I'd like to see things like scurvy. People would need to find certain foods, not just survive off of dry rice. Also, I think this needs to be in suggestions.

Well according to the guy who 2-hit me with a fire-extinguisher while facing my crotch at 10ft away yesterday, he'd probably say fire extinguisher.
