Not sure, does it help to find that 1st person server? Where that exploit is impossible?You know, there already are "fixed" server. Are they not existing or too full to be able to join a server where the "exploit" already is fixed and impossible? Is that word order right? I can edit if you want.

I dont know how this looks to you but I dont want to take anything away from this guy who loves 1st person so much that he decided to bitch all 3rd person player.Call me whatever you want, I just stand for my prefered point of view.

You know that weapons happen to make sounds and bullets make traces? Okay, point, in real life they make traces. In the game not. Then you are going with your deadly sight and kill the surpressor by peeking? Peeking really grimm hard, I suppose.This is so pointless. ^^ Problem: How do you kill the suppressor by peeking? He cant see how grimm you stare. So thing would be, after you peek killed him, you still need to go out of cover and using weapons to fire back. Useless tonsay that the surpressor will loese that fight, since he is so desoriented from the grimm peeking part.

If you use suppression fire they already know you are there and you know they are there. In order to shoot back, they would need to run into your fire, so supression works.Suppression fire not used to go ninja stealth anyway. To me the topics has been solved long ago, by having two types of server and soon, two separated hives. That splitting the playerbase argument is plain bullshit. Sorry, but the playerbase already is split. In niht and day people, in server populations - only up to 40 people csn join a server - what the heck are you calling split anyway? Who gives a fuck if you join server a or server b or if you make something really surprising, playing on a 1st personnserver. I dont care and I play on what server I want. There is no need to be united with folks which doesnt enjoy the game as I do.

Get a flashlight attachement for your weapon and play in pitch black nights, just awesome. Hope, they are adding chemlights, flares and nvgs soon. The gas lamp is awesome too, but sadly bugged. It breaks if you log out and never shines again.

And here it comes, my daily "What??" moment. ;) But besides of that kos != pvp. Kos just is the cheapest form of pvp. And it's actually not that bad in the SA currently.

Do you think a tutorial could help you out of most of the trouble? Reality can be cruel. Sometimes there just are troublesome options. Do I join a 1st or 3rd person server? A subject of heavy reasoning, deep philosphy digging at the edge of what holds our universe together. Now don't just chose what you enjoy - this would be way too easy. Hold a minute. No, hold a year. Think that through. Better hold a life time. Make forum topics. Then demand the choice to be removed. Thats how we are doing in real life the whole day. At the backers, in the grocery store, at breakfast uppon deciding the spread.... Life is so complicated. No one would expect to be happy by just clicking a simple button. Behoooold! And if we got that nailed, lets fix the backers too. They holding up our lifes for too long now! Don't become one of this mindless costumers which say: "Oh, that's the option I like best. Lets chose it.". You know that they are doing wrong. Once you understood this, you have become the superior one, you are a true hardcore being. Lets advance to level two.

That analogie is borked in the very first place. Its not an "or" case, its an "and" case since both variants are available at every time. I know both of them and I like both of them. Having both enriches the game. Keep your "you only can have one" thing for something else.I actually enjoy playing on 1st person server as well. Untill the limited view, the handling, hanging in doors, the lack of orientation etc gets oppressive and drives me nuts. Takes 1 to 2 hours on average. 1st.and 3rd.person server offer two slightly different variants of the game, both are valuable. The gameplay is different. 1st person view is in a nutshell with lower pace, while 3rd person view has a wider scope with faster pace. I enjoy wider scopes as well. They are more open and feel way more free. Please don't take the gems out of that game. Making a choice, pressing the button which brings you to the server of your preference. It could be so easy... Sigh, all that bitching and crying for years now in essence just because some folks is not able to manage a simple choice or buttons and or is unable to accept a different view.

Well with the logic of the 1st person advocates, wouldn't it be less hardcore to use helper like TrackIR or Joysticks? Isn't it way more hardcore to fly blind, without using hands? Where is the outcry, that he is in unfair advantage? Unlike 3rd person, TrackIr is not available for everyone being built in. Could it be that the one who started that 3rd person hater discussion is using advantage giving gadgets himself? Would be the mother of irony, I suppose. But yes, his flying skills definately are adorable. It's just not for everyone.

No, actually the the 3rd person works and is game design. A game design me and others do like. A game design that has proven to be enjoyable and successful.Separating the hives also works. Its gamedesignwhise the best solution.

Project Zomboid has another graphical level. Having such mechanics doesn't desturb that much in this case. Whatever works for one game doesn't necessarily need to work for another. I don't like it in the SA.

Sorry, I somehow missed the news explotion you caused lately. So some of you think 3rd person is an exploit and needs to be fixed? Joining a first person server is no option for ya, indeed great news.
