DLC seems to work better in single-player games the game i was thinking of was just cause 2.

cheap dlc is fine I saw one game where spending an extra $10 gave a complete different experience and was totally worth it ha ha. each piece of the dlc was $1 or $2 which was great. im fine with dlc as long as it is completely worth it.
