Some elements are tenuous, but since I've yet to consider a plot thus far, I can't criticise it. Some devices would need elaboration, but as a first draft, it's strong enough.

Lighthouses, mountain ranges, road signs, coastal position...all good for orienteering. A compass helps too.

It's fallout from the Arma system...was always pretty sensitive. It might be adaptable, but I can't see much being done aside from an extra foot or so. -
Brightness is accessible for me, but not gamma - I've got Beta.

That's terribly frustrating... Might want to pass that on to Rocket. -
'Safe Haven' trade posts would be a welcome addition to the world...they would allow survivors to experience some organised companionship; military minded players would be afforded an opportunity to focus their skills on perimeter tactics and guard techniques; bandits would be presented with an opportunity to stalk havens for supplies and have some real opportunities to exploit and weaknesses that became apparent. The stories that would arise from this dynamic would be incredibly rich, varied and give a real edge to an already phenomenal mod. I really support such a venture.

A rota would mean you have designated periods of time to play. You get Monday, he gets Tuesday, etc. The only difficulty is that you share a character and it might annoy one or the other if you kill it...by hook or crook. But I reckon, preserving that character as a team might be pretty cool...

Radio would be a tremendous feature...with a live broadcaster over the airwaves, it would be a cracking use of community spirit and hugely believable. Underground radio to keep you alive. A delight.
