I really don't think people should be making pages with information saying "I would..., it's best...", etc. In my opinion wikis should be purely information and shouldn't have a personal side like a blog or guide to the game. If you disagree, I'd like to know why.

There are not reserved slots for admins. Currently there is no rule against kicking players to make room for your friends or self, but the community frowns upon it.

Emailing dayzdevteam@gmail.com would probably the best way to get your questions answered. I will answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. Warning I may be wrong! 1. You are not allowed to lock the servers for friends as far as I know. That would give you an unfair advantage since all the servers are linked together. 2. You can kick, ban, etc. Basic admin commands, no godmode. 3. Yes they have a system setup where you can restart the server from a website. 4. All servers are using the same name system currently, I would assume that they would want your server to too.

I would try emailing them again.

I'd help but I'm fairly new to creating/editing wiki pages and have no idea how to do the template/infobox thing. So if someone would create one or post telling how to do it, I would contribute a lot more.

It's just a patch for ArmA that's in beta stage. It has bug fixes, etc. to the game and there shouldn't be anything different about the DayZ experience when playing on those servers. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=449

Tonic is the server manager for DayZ.

It's either the servers aren't working or it won't send emails to gmail. I couldn't get an email sent my gmail but I switched my email to hotmail and I got the activation message.
