I don't think this is a very good suggestion. Sound almost like some freak-version of sith corruption in swtor. I think making you hair grow (growing a beard) and make clothes get diry based on the time your character has survived. A change starting after 7 days or something and its getting whorst for every week. If you then want a change based on actions you can make bandits get this criminal/unfriendly look on thier face or something. -
I think improving melee combat is a very good suggestion. But fighting with fists just be very uneffective vs zombies, going in to combat unarmed vs a zombie should be a very dangerous risk. I also agree that the even bigger problem is the amount and variety of melee weapons.

I think they should reconsider! Players should not be immune. They should be able to be turned as well, walking dead or infected doesn't really matter. So that zombies carrying the loot.

Most people against this idea hasn't really understood what he is suggesting. This is a good suggestion. We're striving toward realism here right, of course there must be a variation of how good a person is in handeling blood transfusions. My guess is that half of you in this forum has no idea how to preform a blood transfusion. But after a few of them you get better in preforming them, so why would that be a bad suggestion? I think realism we're after... This is no crap cod or wow or anything, this is just a value that shows how experianced you are in doing certain actions in game that normally require some experiance.

very good ideas! Perhaps not change much on how zombies detects players, but they should definitely alert all nearby zombies. But all others suggestions should be added! -
Azziax; thats not even the point. Having safe zones. But you're keeping it safefrom defending it. By keeping it as it is now it wont last very long. It gets boring rather quickly in end game. Going around killing players for no specific reason is not realistic and no where fun. In that case they should have PvP servers for that. Because thats how it is now; a deathmatch in a huge world. Where you count frags. Not really a realistic survival game. And that would also only try to compete with WarZ which is exacly a bad example of how it ends if hunting players is all it is about.

I would like to see a gang struggle to get supplies and weapons to keep everyone alive andgather resources and tools to fortify their camp with traps/fences and stuff like that.

Also make dead players spawn into zombies short after thier death, and improve their AI or make escaping harder by let player slip when running (higher chance in diffecult terrain).

Hello everyone! I really like dayz, but I dislike the idea that in the end people will just go around killing eachother or get bored. Go bandit or go hunting them should not be the only activity in end game. Thats not even realistic! According to my knowledge they will be introducing some sort of crafting system. My suggestion for endgame would be constructing camps, towns, cities (safe areas). By perhaps constructing buildings? If that is too complicated then constructing traps, walls so that people can take control over an area. But also... Make zombies more dangerous. Probably spawn hordes of zombies that are wandering from place to another (i would like to see non running ones, but harder to kill zombie hordes). These zombies should requires lots of fire power to take down. Teamwork would be required inorder to survive vs these hordes or at least to keep their camp, town or city safe. So inplanting gang system (clan, guild, what ever you wish to call it) that would let a group of people build up their territory and guard it from zombies and other gangs? That way gangs could work together vs other gangs, some backstabing, or what have you... Instead of individual vs individual, there will be group/gang vs group/gang. I believe that would be far more realistic and fun! Also, make players create boxes, crates that gangs could store supplies/weapons and other equipments that also could be a target for other gangs to get hold of. What do you think about this?
