Game Server Hosting by SurvivalServers.com *** INSTANT SETUP | CUSTOM CP | FTP | CUSTOM MODS | ANTI-HACK **
UK#1 Bud replied to SurvivalServers (DayZ)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
An email i received: Hello, Due to the complex nature of Origins mod, we were not aware of the complications with hosting 1.7.1. We have been in contact with the owner of Origins/Gamers Platoon and have come to an agreement to remove 1.7.1. We will be an officially approved host for Origins 1.8 when that is released. We're sorry for the inconvenience for all of our Origins orders. The DDoS attacks have stopped now that we've removed Origins support. All Origins orders will be refunded in the next couple hours. Sincerely, Survival Servers _____ I've been refunded, at least they are not thieves and have stuck to their word on that. I will be willing to revisit this company once they have released 1.8, on the basis that their staff on support are polite, and probably genuinely cleaning the skid marks out of their pants after this incident. Cheers -
Origins unfortunately was a misleading server company, you can read more here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/77082-survivalserverscom-7-day-free-trial-instant-setup-25-for-50-slot-map-tool-anti-hack/page__st__1640 I'm looking into alternatives, i just don't want to pay the money grabbing gits that restrict access. UK#1 Has seen a few nukes this evening, i've added some more lines into the Scripts.txt for battleye, Hopefully this will prevent it in future. Regards

Indeed, they have untill 12 PM tonight, until i contact Paypal regarding this company - no one likes being lied to. -
Same regulars on each day, im sure they are looking for some players to hunt! I'm starting to think Rockets origional game is not what people want, considering the difference between the influx of players to our Vanilla server, compared to our server with 90 Vehicles and 4 Helis.

Have seen a few people lurking about, will see how this runs over the next couple of weeks!
-
Its gaining in popularity, although most of our playerbase is still on UK#1 and on the new Origins server, we are hoping there is still the demand for the origonal mod that Rocket set out to develop. Personally, i love vanilla, its what DayZ is about. edit/tired spelling

Met some nice people today on the new UK2 Server!

Good to hear from you Zarniwoop!

Thanks BeatSTV for the post, much appreciated. I must admit, on a whim - we've found a much better host for the Origins server, and are planning to set up a 30Slot trial today, its already installing! So our final 'loadout' of servers will be UK#1 - 90 Vehicles + 4 Helis UK#2 - Vanilla as above UK#3 - Origins and Braincraft.co.uk (Our Minecraft server) All of which have been spawned from the community of DayZ, many thanks to everyone involved!

I must admit this thread is a little outdated - instead of 10 people on we now have a static 50, therefore the difficulty needs an increase as its simply to easy to kill 5 players, some people have -100k Humanity, we are reviewing the system today, details to follow. Apologies for not having followed this thread, i missed many of the replies, i intend to keep track from now on! :)

After talking to our community, we have decided that there is a huge demand for a well maintained vanilla dayz server, so check out UK#2 when #1 is full!! Thanks for playing everyone, in recent weeks we have had some really friendly players, bandits and surivors, and we are not even at our second month,

It's very late here, but I really wanted to keep up the momentum that we have gained over the last month. Our server, so far, has been a great success on DayZ, and we now have new and old players joining up on Teamspeak to play, both for events on our server and for different games. The goal is to create a friendly and competitive community, spread across multiple games, with the ultimate aim of success and fun in the standalone release of DayZ and other titles on the PC, we see on average 40-50 people on the dayZ server and 15-30 people on teamspeak a day of all nationalities, and would love to add to that figure for regular gamers. BoB Server has gone from 4k in ranking to 300, in under two weeks, and from 0 clans to 9-10 regular 3-10 man clans! The assumption is this is down to really trying to listen to our great community, therefore playing host to various events such as the defending of devils castle, military convoys, race to skalisty, "sightings" of spawns to create action, bounty's that are requested by our own players and fulfilled by screenshot, rewards for survivors (vehicle deployment at certain humanity), all of which are ideas thought up by our BoB community and deployed by clans or groups of players on teamspeak! In the spirit of continuing this trend we have decided to develop a new minecraft server and release it to our DayZ members to enjoy. In the pipeline (depending on future announcements regarding SA) we are looking to increase the number of servers we have to quench our thirst for varied gameplay and maps, namalsk, origins and heavily modified PBO's for DayZ+ are interesting to us. In short, I am hoping to encourage new players to DayZ that may enjoy other PC gaming, are aged around 16+ (our average age is 20-30) with a good attitude to check our server out and see if you like what we do, we are always open to new ideas for events and game hosting. Thanks for reading, its 3am here, praying for legibility! Bud
